  1. Hi,

Sometimes comes the day when you need to leave the train. Mine finally came today. The phone works fine but its software issues are too annoying for me after over 3 years with it.

I'm selling the original Pro1 with serial number 000797. Condition, as on pictures, quite decent. Device had replaced USB board and the screen, which has a protector on it. Comes with original box with charger which was using only during the holidays so it was maybe 5 - 6 weeks, original sleeve, 2 extra screen protectors and a 3D printed back cover. Device has been flashed with latest stock firmware during writing this post.

I'm thinking about £600 plus shipping. If you are interested, just DM me.

PS I completely forgot, phone will be sent from UK, I'm quite open to the shipping location but the closer the better.

It could be that the plug-cable on this battery is FxTec only though.

That's the point. There is no chance to find a ready plug-and-play battery outside of fxtec. We can only find a close enough size and transfer the BMS with cable to another cell.

2000mAh battery which will be 100% fitting into the Pro1. Always something...

No, the original battery seems to be very small but you have space for a larger one. That's why bigger batteries are sold (given the numbers from those chinese sites are real).

However, since all the batteries have different capacity labels, they might as well have different dimensions, too. You can probably stuff a lot of battery into a keyboard.

    About the second battery:
There's no place for 15mm more length if you want wifi, a microphone and the main charging port. 2mm more width would mean that you had to remove the aluminium brackets that hold the battery in place.
Could work, but the amount of work isn't worth it in my opinion.

I see, you don't understand how those batteries are labeled.
5036108, model taken out of the fxtec battery is in reality size of that battery.

    50 means it's 5.0 mm thick.

    36 means 36 mm width

    108 means 108 mm length

That's why I found this battery, it meets all the size criteria and that's why it has very similar but not the same capacity. Those keyboards has 1450-1450 mAh batteries because they are twice as thin than the fxtec battery. And that's why you are wrong, sorry.

Why there is no 3200-3150 mAh batteries in this size on the market? Because batteries with that larger capacity are made in slightly different manufacturing process and they are available only directly by manufacturer, which btw I found.

Just search on that website for the size of the battery.

  4. I'm testing it for like a week or so on my Pro1 and at the moment that's the best android based OS I ever used. Even banking apps are working with microG. Later after changing my server I will host my own cloud for synchro.

  5. Hi people, I am a Pro1 user for over a two years right now and I broke my USB socket. So if I am reading this and other topics correctly, the biggest advantage of this phone became its biggest mistake and fxtec does not only even have replacement part to be bought to fix own Pro1 but also does not responding to the emails, am I right? How screwed I am? There is any chance to buy the USB socket assembly?

I sent an email to fxtec but if they are not even responding then I have no Idea what to do.
