I used my Pro 1 with VoLTE off during the past 3 days.
At nights I set it to "Airplane Mode" on and Wifi on. For this, VoLTE off made no difference regarding the battery drainage.
But during the day - with "Airplane Mode" off and "normal" phone usage, VoLTE off reduced the battery drainage. It is still not as good as with Lineage 22.1, but my Pro 1 survived the days without additional charging in the afternoon. The past two days were weekend days, where my phone usage is different to week days. Therefore I have to observe this a few more days.
I also received a new 5G SIM card from my provider (I did not order this - they are changing their system - it is a pity, that the Pro 1 does not use 5G). I put the new SIM card in the phone today, because I have to use it before the end of the month. And I switched VoLTE on.
I will check for two or three days and then report here, if the new SIM card has an effect on the battery drainage.
After that test I will continue with the VoLTE test.-

HI,
the Lineage Juli Update maybe improved the battery drainage a little bit. Instead of going down from 100% to 30% during the night (meaning, the Pro1 was at standby and "Do not disturb" was activated) my Pro1 was emptying the battery to only 50%. Slight improvement, but still to much to use it during the day at work and so on.Last night I had "Airplane Mode" on and Wifi on too. VoLTE (4G-Anrufe in the phone localized to a German UI) was on.
The battery was going down from 100% to 93%. This is approximately, what I had in the past before the update of Lineage to version 22.2.
I switched Airplane mode of today morning and after 5 hours the battery was down to 60%.This shows, that @Hook is probably right with his assumption, that the battery drainage is related to the SIM card respectively to the phone call functionality.
But Airplane mode is no solution for me, because I am using the Pro1 not only as little computer, but also as a mobile phone.

Sorry for the "delayed" answer. I didn't activate notifications. Therefore I did not realize your question earlier.
I activated notifications now.My Pro1 was on the June release of Lineage. I just updated to the July release.
I will report the effect of the update on the energy consumption in a few days.Just for information: I use the MicroG version of Lineage: lineage-22.2-20250719-microG-pro1 (https://lineage.microg.org/ and https://download.lineage.microg.org/pro1/). There are no GAPPS installed on my Pro1 and I have even removed most of the Google stuff that was in the ROM. This clearly proves, that the energy consumption issue of the Pro1 / Lineage 22.2 is not related to GAPPS.

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to mention here, that I am one of the Pro1 users, who is effected by the battery drainage of the Pro1 after the update of the device to Lineage 22.2.For me, this is really a mess, because I used the Pro1 as my so called "daily driver" for the past 2,5 years.
😢
Like TeZtdevice, I also assume, that it will take me too many hours to downgrade the Pro1 to a previous Lineage version. Unfortunately, I will not have the necessary time for this task before September.
To "survive" until September, I reactivated an old Samsung A10.
☹️
I cross my fingers, that the problem disappears or that it gets solved before I find some time to downgrade my Pro1.

LineageOS 22.x Official Release for Pro1 (QX1000)
in General Discussion

Hi Everybody,
I am sorry for the late response. I was to busy for almost 2 month and forgot to answer here.
Today I updated to lineage-22.2-20251022-microG-NO-PI-PATCH, and that did remind me that I have an open promise here.
On my Pro1 the new SIM card almost solved the battery drainage problem. The phone is still consuming a little bit more battery than it did before the update to LOS 22. That time I had to charge it every second day only. Now with the new SIM card the battery works for a full day again. That makes the Pro1 use-able for me.
