  1. I think what you're talking about is DSDS or DSDA (dual standby or dual active). This is what I came to ask about myself. On my Pixel 3 right now, I have to manually switch between two SIMs, with only one active at a time and the other completely off. With DSDS (dual standby) at least you can receive messages from both at the same time, and choose which to use for data and calls. This is what most dual SIM phones do that are sold internationally. There is also DSDA which I believe alows for using both data connections simultaneously (though I'm not sure what devices support this yet). I was c
  2. For those who live or travel in Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore) most rail systems use NFC (specifically the Felica spec, NFC-F) to do touch payments. For example the Octopus card in HKG and Suica/Passmo/etc in Japan require this. It is also part of the global ISO / NFC Forum standard along with NFC-A-B. If it's fully supported, you can add a Felica based rail payment card to your Google Pay app and simply touch your phone to enter the station gates or make other touch payments like at convenience stores or vending machines. So, does anyone know if this will be supported?
