How factory settings and flash it with stock rom

Hello dear community,
I have been trying for weeks to reset my Pro 1x to factory settings with the Stock Rom v2.1.2_ota_img using the instructions on the page.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on Windows with QDL because it can't download the files and therefore aborts.
On Linux it flashes the phone with ./QX1050_otaflash_mac+linux.sh but when booting the display stays black and the LED is permanently red.
I ask for help, how can I save my phone and set it to factory settings and flash it with stock rom?

I used this method a couple of weeks ago, without flashing boot.img (see the last reply) it didn't boot.  Casey said it should work with the standard ROM so worth a try?
