ForSerious 0
I'm coming from Android 10. I like how simple it is. I just got this used Pro1-X and am not liking Android 11. LineageOS is something I'm willing to try, but I'm not sure about any backup plan if it fails. I've put LineageOS on my Sony Xperia 10 before, but once I did, it could not do calls or text. I had to revert it. I'm still on the same provider, so I worry the same thing will happen. Also, CPU-Z says I have a Snapdragon 665, but the LineageOS build download page says it's for the Snapdragon 662. Is that going to be an issue? Can I get the default Android back if it doesn't work out?
Hook 3,130
The lineage page is correct. CPU-Z misreports it. I've had Lineage on for a very long time and it works fine. Lineage is currently on Android 15 (Lineage 22) which you will probably not be thrilled by if you don't like Android 11. Android 11 is the earliest Android the Pro1x can take. But yes, you can reinstall stock Android 11 if you don't like Lineage, but you will get no security updates. Make sure you thoroughly investigate the Pro1x's call and text performance on Stock. Lineage will not affect that, either ofr better or worse, so make sure you know what the problems are ahead of time. 1
ForSerious 0
Good to know. When I did LineageOS before, I remember liking it a lot more than what was on other peoples phones. I think they were the same Android level.
