My phone is stuck on the main screen wtih the Pro1 logo at the top, and Ubuntu touch logo at the bottom, but won't do anything else. Do I (totally technically illiterate need to restore the Pro1 basics and then start over with the Ubuntu installer?

Do I have to start the phone and associate my google credentials to get Android and the phone running BEFORE I can load LineageOS? I was hoping to avoid ALL attachment to Google if possible.
