I read in the news that the chinese government ordered a shutdown for all factories until the middle of february and it might be even extented depenting on how the infection rates change. Thus, this will most likely lead to more delays.

Erik stated in today's update that "We are on track for general availability by Christmas, which of course means all pre-orders will be completed by then." What exactly is considered a pre-order and Is my order a pre-order then? I bought the phone on October 6 for the old prize of 650€ and I got the order number #38xxx.

The sup...well, a little birdy told me that the second batch will be send by the end of November. I am not sure what kind of shipment was mentioned (factory - HK warehouse or UK/US warehouse to customers). Psychologist know that past behavior is a useful marker for future behavior. Since communication and shipment of the first batch were handled rather "flexible", I guess this will apply to the second batch as well.

They should offer the case and the headphones for everyone as compensation for all these delays.

I really hope that my device will arrive before Christmas, since it is a present for my girl friend. I ordered early October, however with all these delays I am not sure how it really ends up.
