Cellular Bands and functionality

Recommended Posts

GSM: 2, 3, 5, 8

WCDMA: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8

CDMA/EVDO: BC0, BC1

TD-SCDMA: 34/39

TDD-LTE: 38/39/40/41(100mhz)

FDD-LTE: 1, 2/25, 3, 4, 5/26, 7, 8, 12/17, 13, 20, 28, 66

Tmobile uses bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 66 for LTE. the only bands its missing for full and complete support there is 17 and 71. 2g and 3g should work as well for tmo.

verizon appears to use band 2, 4 and 13 for LTE all of which are supported, as is the cdma aspect. so if you can convince verizon to activate the device you should have entirely full support. without the cdma aspect, youll have just LTE/volte support.

AT&T uses 2, 4, 5, 12, 17 for LTE and as such should be fully supported.

Sprint uses 25, 26, 41. im not sure how that will work for sprint customers due to cdma locks and they arent required to allow LTE free run like VZW does. so overall probably least likely to get any kind of support on sprint, similarly us cellular as well.

According to the Fxtec website Pro1 network support is as following:

Global LTE (FDD+TDD), WCDMA/UMTS, CDMA/EVDO, GSM/EDGE

Cellular Bands;

GSM: 2, 3, 5, 8

WCDMA: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8

CDMA/EVDO: BC0, BC1

TD-SCDMA: 34/39

TDD-LTE: 38/39/40/41(100mhz)

FDD-LTE: 1, 2/25, 3, 4, 5/26, 7, 8, 12/17, 13, 20, 28, 66

Since our frequencies are 3G bands 1, 5, 8 and 4G bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28 & 40, yes it does work here, as well as in a lot of other countries.

The link mentioned by @lameboyadvance - Aus Mobile Network Frequencies under heading "Importing Phones from Overseas"

For full compatibility in Australia with all carriers, it is recommended that you use a phone with the following bands:

3G: 850 / 900 / 2100 [also referred to as 5 / 8 / 1 respectively]

4G: Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 40.

For 4G, Band 3 and 28 are the most commonly used. If a phone has band 28 available, it is likely to have all the bands you need.

the other sections are complex to understand. Just clarifying because 1 / 5 / 8 numbers initially puzzled me :-)
