sequestris 710
3) It doesn't care what it is plugged in to or with - it still fast-charges.

I can't see the label on that port that it is plugged into, but if it says QuickCharge, that's why. It will still slow charge if it is plugged into most computer USB ports and other non-QuickCharge chargers. Some of the newer PowerDelivery chargers will support QuickCharge too. And then there will be those chargers that are faster than a USB port, but still not truly QuickCharge. But it sure does charge quickly on a QuickCharge charger. :-)

david 929
What is going on with the x on the phone signal? Was this before you got your T-Mobile working?

And it's plugged into a USB docky-hubby thing.

Oh it's fine. I just am on Band E or 2G or something in the house. Maybe 386 :D Nothing that can be done about that. but I can make and receive calls (though with a landline I generally don't). I haven't used mine on cellular yet, so maybe that is just normal unless you are transferring data. It just seemed like the x would mean no signal or meant something wasn't working right. sequestris 710
I guess... my primary purpose is to have a phone that works OUTside of the house. When I am at home; it's just a really pretty toy. I have this and a 4TB external HD with gig speed internet...https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-notebook-9-pro-15-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-amd-radeon-540-256gb-solid-state-drive-titan-silver/6111205.p?skuId=6111205
