  1. I use that too, but it does stick out from the phone a bit. But if used in a case or shell, it is not vulnerable. I've been using such magnetic adapters for quite some time, too. Since then, the same cable is good for both USB-C and Micro-USB connectors (as well as Apple's proprietary connector). Plugging and unplugging is much easier and quicker, too, which I especially like in the car. I would like the adapters to be black instead of white/silver for cosmetic reasons, but I don't find them too ugly as they are, either. Perhaps the best feature is that it reduces the wear on the pho

  2. From the article Qualcomm released the fixes back in December 2020, but still up to OEMs to push it. Samsung patched it as part of their May updates. 100% on FxTec here now, or should I say that company FxTec hired to (not) handle updates.

  3. Just to properly follow this up – I never received it, but I got a refund. And while I was at it, I found out that there had been a Pro¹ screen protector (of the flexible type) lying unused in my drawer all the time, I must have bought it long before I got my phone... and I'll try it soon. Its brand name is 'Brotect', the manufacturer's name is 'Bedifol'.

  4. You can just use a magnetic cable instead of a dock reduces all risk and is a whole lot cheaper.

  5. Thanks. Not to be sarcastic, but I do wonder what they mean by "support" when it has been almost nine months without bugfixes, and the security updates are over a year behind... But I guess I'm just impatient.
