  1. @maridav It should still be possible to flash the stock rom using EDL, probably even using fastboot. Fastboot restore guide: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18Clj6qv4jXIFGfy0S1NO1K8DoN8bJ3Ms A locked bootloader should only prevent you from installing custom ROMs. I would still recommend you contact fxtech.

  2. Yes, the situation definitely is unsatisfactory. Personally, while I'm in the comfortable position of already owning a (battered but still mostly functional) Pro1 and a shiny new Pro1X (backed on IGG October 2020), I'm also still waiting for my September 2019 Pro1 website order (later changed to Pro1X) to be fulfilled. I can report, though, that three weeks ago (production updates usually come once a month, more frequently only if significant things are happening in between) I requested some information, and while they didn't give me any specific dates, they assured me that the order defi

  3. Regardless of whether you think this is the right place or not, the latest info from Fx-tec usually is found on IGG and reposted here within days if not hours. In the past "operational delay" has often meant some delay due to a COVID lockdown. As far as your ordering date, reports are that it does not seem to matter if you ordered from the site or participated in the IGG campaign as to when your phone will ship out. As near as we (or at least I) can tell from posts of those whom have received their phone, no one has been able to figure out the shipment order (maybe I missed it). Asking her

  4. Install something like GSAM or 3C All-In-One Toolbox, to find what app is the culprit. The LOS by it self is pretty lean on the battery. About 0.5%/h when idle. ADD, And when in Aeroplane mode it falls to about 8%/day (And this is on a preproduction unit from the the spring 2019, with original battery)

  5. You have already been pointed to the long thread, but the tl:dr version is: Any soft cases fitting a Huawei P20 Pro can easily be modified in minutes No special skills required. (Do not take stiff cases though, as the slight slant of the Pro1X's back towards the edges makes them a poor fit). For a number of my DIY experiments see here.

  6. I've had my Pro1X since Aug 1, and noticed today that the fingerprint scanner had separated from the case. It still works; the electrical connection is on the other end of it. I've taped it down with a bit of electrical tape for now. What's the best way to stick it down permanently? Should I disable it until it's been fixed? I don't use it anyway.

  7. Hi all, I got my fx phone about a month ago. When I got it there was an android OS on it and I decided (wish I hadn't!) to try to put Lineage on it. I don't know what I did but it ended up in what has been described by EskeRahn, on a reply to a previous posting on this thread, as the Bootloader screen, and I have been stuck on this screen ever since. As you might gather, during the course of trying to fix this I made it worse because somehow I locked the bootloader screen I've tried the all key combinations and the most I got out of it was I was able to shut the phone down
