  1. The trays seem identical, at the least they are interchangeable. It is 0.95mm thick, and 14.1mm wide, an approximately 30.45 mm long including the outer piece. Note that the profile it slide in is not uniform, the 0.95 mm is split in half, and the part closest to the back has an indent of roughly 0.5mm, and some cuts it the wide part. (I tried to upload an image, but it seems that I'm no longer allowed to do so????)

  2. So it's been a day aaand... something worked! I've edited the gps.conf file a few times but later ended up using the old file I've had before. After every change I restarted and now I've waited a few hours to let the phone reload agps. Somehow it works now and I finally get a GPS fix again! The accuracy varies between 10 and 30 metres but it seems to be enough for Google maps. I'll continue experimenting a bit with the settings but I am very thankful for you guys for helping me so far. Especially @EskeRahn was a huge help with his almighty forum knowledge.

  3. I found this, but I would be cautious about any case claiming to be for the Pro1 or Pro1x that doesn't show complete pictures. The case may fit, but does it allow the keyboard to open properly? Luckily Amazon allows returns... https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Qx1050-backplane-Silicone-KA-HEI16/dp/B0B8S3TXGM My skepticism comes from seeing manufacturers in China relabel a case as for the Por1 or Pro1x just because it fits in one way or is a universal case they think might work, but these cases tend not to be actually created for the Pro1x.

  4. Thank you guys @Name_not_avail and @claude0001 for your suggestions and explanations, they were a huge help. I edited gps.conf using Root Explorer, which is a file explorer where you can mount the system files to be writable (=changeable). I've tried a few things but it feels that editing the file alone already fixes faulty GPS. Since my phone still has poor GPS accuracy (which wasn't the case before), I'll try some different settings discussed here and in the other thread of Claude to see if that affects the GPS signal strength. If I find anything, I'll post it here!

  5. Thank you both for your suggestions. I've managed to edit the gps.conf file using Root explorer and at least I get the satellite overview again. Sadly, no 3D fix yet. Since all satellites are displayed with low signal, it might be an antenna issue anyways. Sadly, so far I haven't found the connection of the GPS antenna (as seen in the disassembly guides postet from MonCon) to the phone internals. But I'll further look into it in the next days.

  6. After messing around with ADB and in debugging mode I have managed to get Windows to detect Pro1-X but only in ptp mode so I can only transfer photographs, I will continue investigating. Thank you all.

  9. I already checked device manager but it does not detect Pr01-X, but it does make the connection sound and it also sounds when you change profiles. I have tried several USB connectors and various cables.
