  1. Hey, don't be ignorant, lol! It is NORDIC qwerty. :P There are other countries than Sweden, you know! Not sure about Island, but Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark all use the same qwerty-layout. No, not trying to be mean, just a bit nitpicky. ;-)
  2. Phones like Nokia E7, Sony Xperia Pro Mk16i and the likes all had excellent keys. With modern technology, and the fact that FxTec constantly refers to the Nokia Communicators as their inspiration, I doubt they will half-ass the buttons; which are one of the most important things for a phone like this.
  3. Why wouldn't it be illegal? Considering you don't have to pay anything before the actual final shipping, and you can cancel your pre-order at any time before that shipping, they could easily then send out a message that "We are sorry to inform that the order amount for your keyboard layout of choice did not meet the minimum demands and won't be produced as of this time. Please inform us if you want to cancel your pre-order or if you accept receiving the phone with a standard, US QWERTY layout instead" Or something like that. And when you do the pre-order they could easily add that paragrap
  4. True. They should just go for a design like LG (yes I know I bring them up often, but good design is good), which has no camera bump. Gorilla glass 5/6 for lens cover can handle most things.
  5. Should also consult with Spigen. Quality cases and glad protectors at half the price of Zagg.
  6. I'm pretty sure at least the interface for managing dual SIM is thanks to LG. Prior to owning this G6, I owned a Lenovo with dual SIM. It has awful support for that. I pretty much had to custom install specific apps for messages and contacts that supported dual SIM. So while Android probably natively support dual SIM, the interface and functionality seems to be up to the manufacturer. Because even if the interface was bad, the core function was flawless: could receive calls on both SIMs and use mobile data without any issues. Here is a screen shot from my G6 from its drag-down notificati
  7. This all assumes that this keyboard, like the PC-equivalents, can do such a switch. I.e. to have a phsyically differnet layout from the software layout. Not all keyboards can do that. If that is possible, then yes, then the QWERZ is better.
  8. I really want seamless integration of Dual-SIM. I currently have an LG G6 H870DS where the dual-SIM works so effortlessly good. I can constantly receive messages and calls to both SIMs, and when I want to call/SMS I can quickly just choose which SIM to use by dragging down the notification menu. I have Whatsapp coupled to one of my SIMs, and my everyday use number and mobile network on the other SIM. Does not need to be any more complicated than that. K.I.S.
  9. +1 Really good suggestion. I don't understand why they don't have this, considering how open they are about "based on demand we will provide other layouts", but there is no way for us to create that demand right now.
  10. Looks clean and slick as hell. No flashy gimmicky stuff to annoy you.
  11. I would probably prefer the standard US QWERTY then over the German layout. You can get ÅÄÖ by holding down A and O for further options (if this will work as normal android keyboards; which it should). It is just a minor inconvenience. But having Y and Z in the wrong places would seriously fudge me up. ^^ I just wish FxTec would be more transparent on the demand and when/if we get to know if they are making a Scandi or not.
  12. As a person from one of the Nordic countries, I really hope for a Nordic/Scandi layout. I have voiced my desire for this several times on Twitter, but I thought I might as well do it here too. I really want this phone. But I dont want to be without my ÅÄÖ signs either and also having the .,:;^~-_+ signs in the "correct" locations. ? As for shortcuts, all typical "CTRL + key" should work. As for software launch shortcuts, is probably not something I would use personally, and as long as I can choose not to use them I am okay with this being added too. "Alt+tab" could perhaps be a thing t
