EskeRahn 5,460
It is backlit. So without knowing the actual process I guess it is printing on transparent material.
nbtodd 0
I couldn't immediately find an answer or ascertain from the pics, so pardon me if I missed something. Me and my partner in crime still exclusively use a Droid 4 and a pair of Photon Q's on Verizon and AT&T... and in dim or dark environments, key backlighting (brightness is controlled by either your screen settings, light sensor if on auto) is essential. For a phone of this size I find this even more critical, even if only the letters are backlit. After all f(x) is key. Hopefully you guys remember that from math class. EskeRahn 5,460
How on earth did my reply get in front of the original post??? 8-O
Noir 112
How on earth did my reply get in front of the original post??? 8-O the date and time of the post is now the time the post was 'activated'. Maybe you activated your post before the initial one. On the PQ you can see bright light around the keys. This is not the case with the pro1, the keyboard's backlight is only visible where it is supposed to be. See the attached picture for a comparison. netman 1,424
How on earth did my reply get in front of the original post??? 8-O I suspect the act of using a keyboard phone in 2019 has torn the space-time fabric and you are now no longer bound by the conventional left-to-right order of events. And yes, I'm not a fan of the light around the keys either, I really do not see the point of those. If anything you get blinded by it... We -of course- want the light to emphasise the letters and symbols..
