There ARE tempered glass protectors BUT I have only found flat ones, thus not fully covering.... What we would like would be similar to the ones for e.g. the BB Priv, or Samsung S8(+/-) & S9(+/-) that are flat in the long direction and curved in the short. (Technically MUCH simpler to make than doubled-curved ones) I sorta discounted the flat ones as there not actually protecting the screen fully so pointless 😄

E.g. bumping into a corner of a table while in a pocket or lands on a stone on the ground dropping it face down. (not to mention scratches) So a flat one is definitely better than nothing, though far from ideal.

Just to properly follow this up – I never received it, but I got a refund. And while I was at it, I found out that there had been a Pro¹ screen protector (of the flexible type) lying unused in my drawer all the time, I must have bought it long before I got my phone... and I'll try it soon. Its brand name is 'Brotect', the manufacturer's name is 'Bedifol'.
