  2. Beside, thanks to corona, things having become even slower than they've already been last year, I don't see any signs to back such pessimism. Actually the signs there are point to the contrary, as at least a few of those who hadn't received their product until a few days ago now got theirs. This is clearly a sign that there is a factory and phones are coming out of it.

  3. I've just spent a whole day with the Pro1, and overall, I love the device. Here are some of my thoughts and issues. It's a thicc boi! But I'm ok with that because it feels really solid in hand. Keyboard opening clack is so satisfactory. Holding Shift + alphabet keys on the physical kb doesn't capitalise. I have to toggle Caps Lock on/off for capitalisation which is slower and inconvenient. Key modifiers really need to be sticky. I'm using the Swype + Dragon virtual keyboard which doesn't seem to play nice with the physical keyboard open. If I tap to focus in a text inp

  4. I repaired that screen on my pro1. Since I am by no means a pro, I didnt really get it right the first time and had to reglue it. It is about 1-2 hour(s) of work - you have to remove aby preexisting glue very well. And it takes time and effort. Removing and attaching the screen is pretty easy if you know how (or watched enough material on that). Elephant U screen works as I pointed out in my thread. The problem is we don't know if that's the only thing that broke. Also: by sending a SMS with a certain code (PIN I think) one can enter the device in order for USB connect
