Anyway, until recently, they only had rough predictions on potential shipping times or even less... there were too many uncertainities. Now they are starting to share more information simply because the number of potential uncertainities are highly decreased, so this date is mch more accurate than any earlier dates... not because those dates were already elapsed, but because we see FCC certification went through, they state components are arrived, etc, so it seems it is up to the factory and logistics which will determine the actual shipping date of the phone.

Fxtect support responded within like a week to my questions: But I had already bought the screen mentioned before. It actually arrived in a month, just yesterday. Seller did not include glue strips from which I did open a dispute, since that's something they advertised to be included. In typical fashion, seller did not even understand what the dispute was about. "We sent you a right screen". It's about a principle anyway even if the glue is crap. What glue do you recommend? @VaZsoThank you for your profound answer and description. I had seen the ghost touches thread but didn't think the reason would be the same - thanks to the moderator for forwarding this thread. I've now ordered two of the cheap elephone screens (since they are 32€ instead of 80€) and will replace the screen as soon as it arrives. If anybody knows a keyboard cursor app (probably designed for external keyboards) which allows us to use the keyboard as a mouse cursor, that would be interesting.

I am joining the ghost touch club. I don't expect anything from Fxtec, so: What's the best replacement screen to get? I have read in this thread that there might be hints, that it's not a display but a connection problem. Is there anything I can try before ordering the display?
