I had noticed that the G-drive links in the official help documents posted by Casey were no longer working (access was denied). I reached out and this was not intentional and they will be fixed sometime this week or so. Just wanted to let folks know. Be patient and the links will work again.

What an odd issue....🤔 A very long press on the power-button should do a deep restart. That might do the trick for you

Yes, it's Android 14 ("MagicOS 8.0"), and Android 15 based MagicOS 9.0 has been announced for November. If it wasn't for either a hardware keyboard or a folder to make the lack of a hardware keyboard less annoying, I'd probably be using a Fairphone. They've an excellent track record for software support, too, and I neither need the fastest chips nor the most advanced cameras in a smartphone...

I'm totally with you. Until Fxtec's Pro1 came along, my limit was more like $500. Even if I like the Honor, I don't expect to pay that much for what effectively is just a phone any time soon. Let's hope it will last a few years. At least they promised Android upgrades for 4 years and security updates for 5 years...

Again adventures in the stange Pro1x -world... When I finished a phone call, suddenly the screen don't react to any touches. The camera function is on and it snaps pictures (as I see in my google account). While pushing the on/off-button it goes black and comes back. It even shows sometimes in the screen the touch "buttons" close and restart - but no reaction when I push them. Is there any solution for this problem? How can I shut/restart the device without touch screen?
