I believe I have understood from your replies on this thread that all pre-orders which were placed up to the time that the first please pay requests were emailed (all pre-orders placed between first quarter 2019 and August 1st) WILL BE in that first batch of orders that will begin the shipping process (factory to fulfillment centers) in mid-October, which will then be dispatched (leaving fulfillment centers to postal services) to customers before the end of October (with expected final delivery -- in hands of all these early customers -- in early November)? I'm relieved they posted an update confirming the delay. I don't mind waiting another few weeks to receive the phone, although I hope this will be the final time it's delayed. Let's all be patient in the interim.

I'm grateful to users of this forum who contacted f(x)tec directly for answers (please keep us all updated should you hear more). Even so, as it's officially Mid-September, so I have to agree that dropping a small note about the delay on their social media accounts, blog, these forums, etc would be more responsible than saying nothing at all.

I am confused about shipping. Is that quoted ~10 USD charged for international shipping to me, or domestic shipping from a US-based fulfillment center? The email I received makes it sound like $706.78 is my final cost?? I am in California.
