No there are, like I said, I can't be bothered for you. I'd say there's a couple of truths as well.

I really can't be bothered to be the search engine lackey of some random dude on a forum which has been wrong about so many things. True, my main issue in that post was people being wrong in this forum and posting fallacies. That's not really an F(x)tec issue though. Engineered to a lesser extent. They generally haven't made a working phone.

Well, you're wrong then. There are definite legal differences. Sure, just dismiss it. Just because something isn't the worst case, doesn't make it good or acceptable. Again, you're wrong then. I fully expected them to slip dates. I just expected more openness about this, and not this many slips. 1 large slip would make more sense even. Because they generally still need to design the device. Even the Pro1 had a working prototype at the point of ordering.

I didn't say it was, I just said it's easier than to invent new concepts. Which is also why I said "in some form", to compare it to flexible screens, which haven't had some form, at least not in commercial use that I remember.

That seemed to be that persons first post like that though, aside from maybe one post that borders on that sentiment. I wouldn't call that over and over. Good for you, but I that just makes it seem like you missed something, or are intentionally ignoring parts. They've contradicted themselves at least via "personal" channels, and if you dismiss those we hardly have any info at all. Why not though? I think there's still a possibility for them to just blurt out all the info they have, or to hire an intern or something to do that. We also don't know enough to know th

I don't remember the specifics, but I remember somewhere the distinction being made that this wasn't a crowdfund. Finished may have been the wrong words specifically, I more meant the difference between a crowdfund and pre-order. One to me seems they only have a concept really, while the other has most things figured out, with gradations between them obviously. This is another fallacy. What makes you think I expected that? That's a crowdfund I think, obviously those should take longer than pre-orders.

Maybe people find Samsung's actions bad as well? Besides, a flexible screen is an unsolved problem compared to slider phones, which have existed in the past in some form. And I respect Samsung's choice to just flat out cancel orders when they couldn't ship in time more, but I fully realize they could take that risk and abandon it like that purely because they're a giant of course. And the fact that this is a pre-order should've meant that this was a finished product, that they wouldn't need to string people along to still figure out the design and whatnot. If they needed more flexibility,

Reading some other forums, and there are still people that are expecting their phones to ship soon, even though they're not in the first batch. And realistically they'll only get a tracking code in 2 to 3 weeks. Personally I am annoyed at the subpar communication, but at least I think I have a decent grasp of the upcoming timeline now. No wonder some people are pissed, they've been waiting for 11 days without any update and they think they should've gotten a tracking code already, and they'll wait for 2 to 3 weeks still.
-
To be fair, it's not a lie if they fully believe that to be the case at the moment they say that. I'm not completely sure about the timeline regarding this, but I think they've only said that a couple of times way before asking for payments, and I think it's very plausible that they thought they would ship soon after asking for payment then. When they started talking about when they were asking for payments, I think they clarified that the shipping wouldn't be a few weeks after anymore, that things have changed. A lie is a lie if you're aware that you're wrong, if you're not aware that yo

To get their money back so they might buy a phone right now? Because they fear fxtec might be bankrupt before delivering their phones? Because they're sick of waiting or the communication or something and don't want to support a company like that? I can think of plenty of reasons, even if I disagree with them all.

As far as I understand it, the second batch should be shipping from the factories towards warehouses/fulfilment centres either next week (week46) or the week after that. Important part here is from factories, I don't know where they really go after that, but it doesn't actually matter. That shipping would be the same as what happened on the 29th for the first batch, so I'd expect about 2 weeks after that for the 2nd batch to be in the hands of Fedex and the like. When they have the phones, you should be getting a tracking code, at which point I'm estimating less than a week for intra-continent

But he already did that, by saying something slightly different. This is the opposite of clearing things up.
-
I appreciate the efforts here in trying to update people, but the previous update was " Product on the way from warehouse to regional fulfillment centre ", so it went from going from the warehouse to going to the warehouse. Not to mention that they were going to the warehouse since the 29th. Clearly the word "warehouse" is being used for a lot of different things, which is technically correct, but it makes any effort in trying to figure out what's exactly being said pretty hard. Best I can guess is that they're in the continent, but not shipped to customers yet.

And my point is that that's wrong, and I don't appreciate that. Assuming you're talking about critics in general though, otherwise I think your post is kinda pointless and extremely vague. I'm sorry, but I don't think the blame in that lies in the people calling out the actions. I also think they can easily fix this by posting the truth instead of clinging to lies, at least in my actions. I also think that, like I said, you should be able to voice your criticisms about these actions, even if it "demoralizes them, and further zaps their emotional energy".
-
I don't particularly appreciate people calling critics crybabies and the like. I do think some people here are a bit more extreme in their reactions then me, and I won't cancel my pre-order for at least a couple of months, but people should be able to voice their concerns. And there are absolutely reasons for concerns. At this point I think it's pretty likely Fxtec lied about shipping on the 29th after slipping past shipping dates for months, and then there's stuff like no longer offering a case but instead offering a sleeve. I don't think it's pointless to voice concerns either. I'm not
