  1. https://github.com/ubports-on-fxtec-pro1 is correct. Rootfs currently has manual tweaks for configs, as I didn't plan for the image to be released publicly and it more served as demonstration, but if there are enough interested parties, we could properly integrate the device on UBPorts CI for OTA updates and support in installer.
  2. A note to anyone updating Sailfish through the OBS repository: please flash the kernel after updating packages through pkcon/zypper. Currently it is not done automatically (needs to be investigated, can be a problem with https://github.com/sailfish-on-fxtecpro1/droid-config-t5/tree/master/sparse/var/lib/flash-partition). It can be done with the following command: dd if=/boot/hybris-boot.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot_a The recent change was switching from userdebug to user build for Android adaptation bits (same as stock firmware), which uses different kernel config with lots
  3. True. XWayland performance seems to be much better compared to XServer XSDL on Android though, plus we have some kernel options like SystemV IPC enabled. It is also possible to start full blown Linux system in LXC container or with systemd-nspawn thanks to kernel namespaces.
  4. Can be reproduced on Sailfish with https://github.com/elros34/sailfish_ubu_chroot. Tried this myself (not with Qt studio, but it ran Chromium though). But N950, wow. Now I want to run Harmattan on Fxtec pro1...
  5. Mobile data should be fixed now. If anyone has SailfishOS already installed, please update packages by doing: zypper ref zypper update Newly CI built image should not need this, but it will take some time to finish and get first post updated.
  6. You should be able to update by flashing factory system/vendor images via fastboot as long as they are provided by F(x)tec.
