VaZso 1,998
There is no doubt that Creditcard isn’t the most popular method of payment in Germany but in 2019 I hope having/ using a creditcard isn’t that big of a deal and just a few have difficulties because of that. I have payed my preorder using a Debit card anyway. Just saying it because one not need to have specifically a Credit card in order to pay it, that is a bit different card type. Credit cards are not common in my country, almost everyone uses Debit cards and I don't have any problems paying with it electronically, even Pro1 payment went through. Disappointed pre-orderer like me had to learn that the only payment way is to use a credit card, which is not so popular in germany. Questions for other payment ways are ignored, so there is a device desgined for use in germany but only a few people in germany can buy it. How would you suggest they take payment, when PayPal does not allow them to do so (see this)? Card payments give you as a consumer some rights within the EU that you do not get with a classic money transfer. After they mentioned what merchant service they used (stripe) i did notice it has options for sofort banking and some other services like that, I sent them a message on the book of faces suggesting if it isn't too hard it may help many to pay if enabled (it's a german payment service thing but it supports many european banks, i can use it also from belgium for example). Do not know what is involved in enabling it, what the terms are etc though, there may be good reason it is not enabled.
