  1. I've owned both a z fold 2 and pro1 in my quest to find the best phone for running emacs and linux. I got the z fold 2 because one, it has amazing specs, and two, I thought I might be able to use the soft keyboard with emacs runnng in a terminal with termux. Now let me say, the soft keyboard on the z fold 2 feels amazing, the best I've ever used. I can feel the vibration as I press each key and the tactile sensitivity is wonderful. 2. For a few weeks, I haven't been able to do umlauts with my QWERTY keyboard and sticky keys did not work anymore. I have tried many things to fix it, but nothing worked. Uninstalling KDEconnect actually did it. I have sticky keys, again, and can do umlauts with "Sym". Thanks for the tip! They are definitively going forward. I hope they will also go through for example FCC approval soon and they can start mass production then and starting to ship devices later. I would assume they may ship devices in next January, hopefully before Chinese New Year.

  5. Hmm doesn't seem to work for me. I got no Fxservice installed and all the other settings are set accordingly. And it all used to work until like late August or something. Strange.. Edit: I found it! KDEconnect was the culprit! Sadly it is one of my most used apps, so I have now to fiddle around with it to make my phone and my Linux machine keep communicating nicely with each other in the future

  6. It says "once a month". What is there to misunderstand? It means Nov 30th would be sufficient even if the last update would have been Oct 1st.
