I'm not downplaying the known bad communication skills of F(x)tec, but this fact alone would have led other manufacturers to say: "Well you broke it, and, after that, you probably made things worse by exchanging parts yourself. Our <shiny-new-successor-product> is superior to your broken phone anyway, consider buying that as a replacement. Otherwise, please don't bother us anymore."

Yes, I guess it would have been a bureaucratic mess to make an infinitesimally small change to the Pro1X, say black housing, and called that say Pro1W and have that been for pre-orders and the other IGG-perks - with individuals preferring the other than what they were in for. Of the major changes they were forced to make after they got swindled, the drop of the 'IGG exclusivity' of the Pro1X variant was one of the least ones IMHO.

I think originally Pro1-X will be exclusively blue but because of the phase out of SD835, Pro1 orders were converted to Pro1-X which I guess prompted them to also offer black and also at the same time, breaking their original statement that Pro1-X will be exclusive in Indiegogo 😄

Just for reference, I have experienced problems with my second replacement starting today. So this time the screen took me 13 months of use... Anyway, currently I I don't have ghost touches but an insensitive area at the very same position where my first screen had... ...so, prepared to replace my screen somewhere in the near future... next time I may try to fix the screen / cable a bit better... However, I would be happy if F(x)tec would has sent me the promised replacement USB panel and I would not have to disassemble the phone twice but the time since my first contact (24t
