    Could you link a thread with an example of this? Typically I see an image loading placeholder for a few seconds which is the way it should be.

  3. Just had a response from Liangchen on the little confusion with the free cases.

    Yes, everyone (with a pre-order) will receive a free sleeve, but only people before the 24th of June will have a free set of headphones (+ the sleeve).

    I have also been updated that we were not left impressed with the quality of the hardcase that you saw on Twitter before - it was making the slider mechanism not open properly. Therefore, there will be no plastic hard cases, but a sleeve to hold the device in instead. And again, everyone with a pre-order will be getting a free sleeve.

    Once the device is in general availability, the sleeves will be paid accessories. We are also confident that we will have third-party accessory makers design products for the Pro1 shortly after launch.

    P.S. I have seen the sleeve and it looks a lot more premium than the plastic hard case.

    As far as I can work out, NONE of those are true.  The price (in the UK at least) is still the same, the case now appears to not be included (and I even asked this question specifically in the forum before placing my order, had no response so presumed it was still valid) and the money was taken about 6 weeks ago.  The password requirements on the old forum / order page almost made me give up in disgust before I even placed the pre-order.

    I expect teething troubles for a new company but so far it doesn't appear that anything originally mentioned has been delivered.  At the point now where, even if it was the absolute best phone ever made, I probably won't enjoy using it due to everything leading up to the delivery.

    I am awaiting confirmation from Liangchen on this. This might have been something I am not aware of. Before further confusion, I will update you how things stand with the free sets of accessories.

    I think the safest thing to do right now is to delete them. Before this forum went live, we had to reimport the WPbb database 5+ times, each time flushing this forums posts table. I have no clue why it didn’t flush yours and kept them hidden.

    Now coming to the shipping , when I said last time that it won't be shipped on 29 Erik was so quick to respond that it's definitely shipping on 29th. 

    And here comes 29th. I can say this with confidence that they have not shipped any at all. Does any of real customers here received shipping notification? I bet none.

    This is another trick to get couple of more months. They can see that the previous trick of delaying is failing so now they got this which will give them couple of more months.

    I think some will understand what I am saying by the end of November. 

    I think it's all because they have not done any manufacturing at it. 

    Its an absolute scam. And those who try to justify them by keep saying it's a small company, so the small companies are allowed to lie like this on and on?

    It's really sad what they are doing to desprate people.

     

    As for us like I said earlier we are cancelling our orders today. In fact we will not ask fx to cancel, we will just contact our credit card company to file a dispute. So that fx will get a fine and goes in black list.

    We are done here.

     

    Acknowledged. We will accept the chargeback. As some of you can confirm, we have never rejected a cancellation request, and we’ve always treated those with respect and understandings. Please bear in mind that cancellations and refunds are a much quicker, hassle-free method to get your funds back than submitting a dispute to your bank.

    We typically don't have an answer to that, as the logistics team drafts up the CSV files needed by the warehouses minutes before the warehouse starts processing them. Factors such as when the payment was received and whether it's an Indiegogo compensation determine in what order devices are shipped.

    As for @Jhonny B, we are trying to confirm which order reference he has. Due to privacy reasons, we can't confirm why, but we're struggling to locate it.

    Like u now saying if it's shipped today to few then why will it take next week for them to get it? Shouldn't it be by the end of this week

    And apart for God knows which lucky ones to expect next week, the rest will then can't expect for atleast next couple of months.

    Jhonny, we contacted you 4+ times requesting your order information to chase it up for you. We are unable to confirm your order, hence we are unable to make a suggestion when your specific order is going to ship. Could you please get back to us as mentioned several times?

    Correct. "Processing" is the status assigned to orders after the payment has been successfully taken. Nothing further to do from your side once it says "Processing".

    A quick informal update for you.


    As confirmed on Twitter, the first batch is in transit. Some of our Asia/Oceania-based customers will receive their tracking details before others, as stock is in transit to our UK and US warehouses. Please bear in mind the customs delays there might be with stock to the UK and US, but hopefully, it will all be smooth. Based on history, customs clearance shouldn't take more than a few days even in the worst case.

    With this, I don't see why some of our Asian customers won't be able to unbox their devices next week :), with shipments from the UK and US following shortly after.

    Liangchen has been preparing a video update from the factory for you, but I haven't yet been told when it will be sent. It could be out any minute.

  13. Hi everyone,

    We know we've been a little quiet in the past days, and that is because there is not much new to add into a new update - we are on track to begin shipping tomorrow, on the 29th. Some of you will receive their dispatch notice tomorrow, with everyone from the first batch following by the end of this week. We are currently waiting on stock to arrive at our warehouse in Hong Kong, which will dispatch orders directly to our Asia and Oceania based customers. The first batch is being held at the Chinese export customs at the minute.

    Alongside our Asian pre-orders, we will, at the same time, split the batch to stock-up our warehouses in the UK and the US. Those will be sent by air freight.

    I have been told that a video update is being prepared for you, and I am assuming it will be sent anytime in the next couple of days. The update will not contain any bad news as we are on track with things, but it may provide more details on each one of our warehouses' schedules.

    It should say "We could not find a member account with that email address. Please try again with other information." if the email address is not found.

    Skynet Worldwide Express is only used for shipments to one country - Russia. They have the ability to pass packages to established Russian couriers such as Pony Express and others. This ensures our orders arrive in Russia, which is a known destination with customs and courier complications.

    For the rest of the globe, we are using either DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD or Royal Mail.

    This seems to have been an issue with the previous forum as well - revealing usernames. This one gives you an option to change the revealed name.

    The previous forum was just hiding the old spammy posts, this one doesn't allow them in the first place. We'll clear them all shortly 🙂
