But when you even hint at something happening and don't have an intention of following through, I consider it a lie. Withholding information is also a lie (10/29 they shipped a small batch and called it on schedule, leaving the majority of pre orders thinking they would get theirs, but we haven't.   5. I've cancelled my order on 11/22. I'll be back when the dust settles. Need to get off this ride. More than happy to pay full price if I have to down the road but I don't like being lied to repeatedly. In my cancellation email exchange, support told me my device was device was due to arrive in the second batch which was at the end of November. and as we all know that didn't happen.
  6. I would say it is intentional and there's clearly a pattern, therefore I cancelled. I'll pay the extra $50 for full price, but I don't like the notion of fxtec holding onto my money interest free for months at a time. I hope they enjoyed my loan and put it to good use but I couldn't wait any longer. I really wish they were forthcoming about how long it would take, I wouldn't have waited so long to replace my ageing LG v20.   7. Idk what you're talking about. iPhone 11 starts at 700 and has really solid specs. Even lower if you look for a deal or get a slightly used one
  8. Amount of feedback has no bearing on buyer protection. eBay's policy on the buyer getting the item they paid for as described is very good. Further protection available if you use PayPal and even another layer still if you use a credit card. I wouldn't be concerned about purchasing from there, but at the same time I'm concerned someone somehow jumped the line
  9. Business days I meant. Depending on the carrier they might not deliver on weekends and the holiday will definitely slow things down
  10. Weird, support told me my order is in the next batch and it's scheduled to be delivered by the end of the month. I find that highly unlikely without any tracking or updates. Unless they plan on sending via airdrop or drone delivery. There's 3 days left in this month (one of which isn't even a business day).
  11. Where do you see mid week? Regardless you can see the estimates getting pushed back slowly. Erik said last week units would leave the factory, now mid week.

  14. Well how would you feel as a consumer that paid for an item over 4 months ago and never got it? The frustrations are well founded in my opinion. It's all water under the bridge at this point. Live and learn. If anything I hope it gives you a better appreciation for how fast the industry moves

  18. This wouldn't be the first time they have pushed back timelines, they're just simply not announcing them now in emails or videos. We are subject to sifting through these forums to find answers. As far as I can see they shipped a small batch on the 29th of October and called that on schedule. Feels misleading to the masses even if it's technically correct. They are still avoiding telling us how big the batches are and which batch we're in, let alone when we should expect our device. Not being very forthcoming...   23. Video definitely calmed me down a lot. So glad to hear they're taking time to ensure quality even when under pressure. Fingers crossed delivery is fast and phone launches with no issues. I do have a hard deadline though. Will need the phone by the third week of November
  24. I agree 100%. And also keep in mind that we have no idea how big the batch is, so it's still not certain when we get our product we paid for
  25. Yeah but still what does that mean? I got the email to pay at 6:30am and paid before 11am on 7/31. God knows how many people paid in the first 5 hours
