So it may help if you could delete older, unused devices from receiver's memory. I have one other device, which is used, currently remembered. Zero unused devices, they've all been removed. This was not an issue with my two previous phones, or my partner's current and previous phones.

I don't know what are the differences between working and non-working devices, that is why I wrote the model number of my unit above. There can be protocol incompatibility or device-related issue (also at Pro1 side and also at head unit side) and even non-supported protocol by Pro1.
DieBruine 397
Another one here. My Ora GrapheneEQ headphones won't connect with my Pro1 using AptX HD. It connects, but there is no sound. While running HiBy music the player states there is no USB device as soon as I select AptX HD. HiBy continues to play, but there is no sound. Doesn't matter which app I use, no sound when connected to AptX HD. I tried every possible combination with the BT settings under Developer Options to no avail. On the other hand I am able to successfully enjoy AptX HD from my Pro1 in combination with CSR8675 chipset (https://a.aliexpress.com/_B0QHcu). The Ora connects via AptX HD to my Pioneer XDP-300R running Android 5.x. So, another user reporting issues with BT. Edited May 9, 2020 by DieBruine
archseraphim 50
I've discovered a workaround of sorts. For whatever reason, pairing the devices (both my car audio and my headphones), allowing them to fail to connect, then turning off contact sharing in the "previously connected devices" list on the Pro1 makes them connect successfully most of the time. On the occasions when they don't connect, restarting the phone seems to sort it out. It's still not 100% reliable, but I can at least use them now. 1
OliverTypes 152
I have a bizarre bluetooth audio issue: When connected to a Nokia Play 360 speaker… Youtube video will start to crawl frame by frame with no audio, all you hear is the "tick tick tick" you also sometimes get over headphones when no audio is playing Video in VLC will play but have no audio Phonograph (music player app) will have no audio Disconnecting the Nokia Play 360 speaker, all audio will work fine Can this be fixed? I'm approaching dealbreaker territory.

Odds that it works properly in LineageOS are fairly high.

Likely the speakers are too old to handle the HD-Audio and there is no automatic stepdown. Edited August 5, 2020 by OliverTypes 2

I was shocked to discover that the Bluetooth loudspeaker was not working. : - \ The phone came yesterday, after eleven months, and I was already thinking that I would have to send it back. Thank you for your solution. It works.
