Around €30,- from UK to NL. That's about 10,- too much for me. But thanks for sharing. It would be very nice if I could charge my phone wireless in my car. Hopefully 1300mAh will become more common soon.

This 2000mA for €22 might be an interesting alternative for you https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08CBY4LBV

EDIT: Sorry too wide, 80mm

ADD: This is 2000mA and less wide (about 48mm) https://www.amazon.de/dp/B087TQP4DN (€20), this can be placed acentric aligned with the plug.

Add II: Just ordered this https://www.ebay.nl/itm/324428608143

Yeah, I will wait for your experiences 🤔. I have several pads, all claiming higher current. So, seeing is beleiving. Let us know 😌.

I haven't attempted anything yet, my Pro1 died in November and it's at F(X)Tec for repair. I can't contact them by any means for an update.

Bought it and tested it out with anker wireless charging pad. Charging led lights up, but no actual charging. 😞

Oh, got the one I bought too a while back, but did not test it (yet), As it seems I have misplaced my wireless chargers (and yes have bought more than one varaiant of those too). Could be that it needs a certain amount of clearance to the metal back to actually work?

I used this anker charging pad: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07THHQMHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

with this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GWQ2GJC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm going to buy this other adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077HFFLMS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

as it appears to deliver more power and is recommended for use with the charging pad. I'll let you know if it works

Found one in the car, that I know was able to charge my S8 (and a Priv also), but can not get the Pro1 to pull out more than 5W or less from the supply, that is something in the order of 2.5W to the phone, so with screen on it slows down the discharge, but does not charge, will try tried to let it stay connected a while, It just MIGHT be isn't able to provide a very slow charge.
It does not matter if I even give at a huge distance
The same combo can charge an S8 though, so all four components works (charger, cord station and plate) - five counting the current test, but there must be some negotiation-issues somewhere. I tried in three different chargers, in both ordinary and QC3.0 slots, that all works charging the Pro1 corded.

I am using my Pro 1 now for weeks with wireless charging and it works pretty fine. I use this Qi Receiver https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B075L6MXJX/ and it works with nearly every loading pad. Two quite fast ones are these two https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0851XWYXK/ and https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07N67395S. How much watt it loads I don´t know but it is okay. I guess after (2 to) 3 hours it is fully loaded.

I also "tuned" it a little bit by removing one of the layers of plastic coating and use some other foil as protection. Also removed the silver housing of the usb-c plug.

Does it actually say battery charging on the screen? Or does only the notification led light up.

Mine also charges with the above setup, but it doesn't say charging on the screen. It goes up like 1% after an hour.

I'm having the same issues even with the 18  watt charging adapter I just got. I'm not sure how @BartWuchs got his to charge. I bought the 1A qi receiver he mentioned, but I can't find the 15w charging pad he mentioned, only found a 10w version in us amazon.

Would it make sense the 2A qi receiver doesn't work, but the 1A receiver somehow works?

Just to make it more clear: I don´t think the charging pad is important if it loads or not. I am also using it in the car with an quite old one and it works. Other pads I am using are 10w no name pads from a local electronic store. Works too. I don´t think the loading pad is important - the receiver is more important. And the only one that is working (and I tried already 3 of them as I wanted to have replacement parts) is the Nillkin.

How did you remove the housing of the usb-c plug? I'm not sure how to pry it open without breaking the plug.

Expand

You have to go with a flat plate along the flat cable into the housing and try to open it with small tilting moves. At some point it will open and it splits. Cable is pretty stable and I did  it already 3 times but neverhteless be carefull. You can also use a small screwdriver. But thats one of the reasons why I bought 3 of the Nillkin 😁

And just to make it clear: I only removed the housing on the top - not the housing which goes in the USB port.
