own3mall 2
Anyone else have this issue? Basically, if you make a phone call using LineageOS 21, you hear silence until other person picks up. No ringing sound plays. Kind of annoying, but not a show stopper. Looks like it's a bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/15qqjy1/no_outgoing_dialling_tone/ https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/5916 Has it ever been fixed / is there a fix, or are the rest of you dealing with it as well? nother 0
Same problem here on a pro1 with just freshly adb sideloaded version 20241221-nightly-pro1 every thing seems to work perfectly, ring tones are there juts when calling no outgoing ringing tones. Its definitely VoLTE as I had not and do not have wifi-calls enabled. And enabling and than again disabling did not change. Disabling VoLTE reenabled or disabled blocking of outgoing ringing tones in the phone app. Might it be that not all carriers do support VoLTE properly or is it just an app issue. pistikem 86
same here for several years already on my venerable FxTec Pro1 : no dial tone, but just with one single company, that's rebtel.com, and usually only when my phone wasn't rebooted recently. if freshly restarted everything works as expected : LED, ringing, dial tone, alarm tone, volumes. but the longer it's up, frequently months in my case, the likelier it becomes that these functions somehow misbehave or go dead even... i think it's in parts also an issue with the installed Android issue, it's just not the same as a proper linux system, like my rock-stable Slackware boxes.
EskeRahn 5,494
I have no idea if there are any difference, but you could try to upgrade to the brand new 22.1, see the thread by @TeZtdevice here.
