  1. @tdm My son hasn't had any keyboard issues since flashing modified boot. Opposed to having issues everyday almost every minute. Yesterday he told me his rear camera doesn't work anymore and that the Pro1 has been suffering from reboots. So later on today I will probably flash both phones to stock (daughter already on it). I hope Wheeljack and I have convinced you to assume the problem has got to do something with the keyboard driver... I can't get them to hand over their Pro1 to me while mine is still in for repair. So, for now, I cannot continue help/investigation until mine re

  2. I've been using the flip case from Snakehive for awhile now and just wanted to update on the TPU case within it. I have only made one cut out for the finger print reader. For the other buttons I've only sliced the plastic to weaken it. That does allow the buttons to be pressed, even the camera button can be used this way. The case doesn't appear to be as flimsy as others have suggested, with the extra button cutouts. It does survive an upside down shake test without coming loose.

  3. I was just pointing out that there are competitors turning up but I am sure they are on the ball and working on a Pro2 I think the problem with the design of the astro slide is that the 2 arms are not connected so its easy to push to hard on 1 arm so it doesn't close evenly. They probably should be connected 🤷‍♂️

  4. Well I imagine, that it MIGHT be possible to fix with some rod and cogwheels in the keyboard part synchronising the two sides. Obviously the technically super simple mechanism of the Pro1 has this coupling by design by the support being a plate and not two individual arms. (Actually the mechanism of the Pro1 though very simple in principle once you got the idea, is a bit harder to do with the correct ratios if you try to do the math, it was a bit of a puzzle when II tried to make a program to create the principal gif here)
