  1. Also, be aware it's the device that is under warranty, not the specific user. If you or anyone else sells the device to another user, that user is still covered by the warranty.

  2. I am pretty sure many Lineage ports have AGPS disabled. As I wrote above, that default setting makes sense, considering that some users might choose LineageOS specifically for privacy reasons. Of course, the option to opt-in to AGPS from the GUI without requiring root access to the system config would be great. However, I suspect that, if it was all that easy to implement, that feature would be available already.

  3. Seems if you can still find one on ebay, it may already be modded to take a SIM card, like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/174709456691 But I guess the specs are too low now for still being usable, the Photon Q is 8 years old now and has only 1 GB of RAM. In 2016, when I had been overusing my second HTC Desire Z aka HTC Vision for so long that it wasn't usable anymore, I thought about getting such a modded Photon Q instead, but I decided that it wouldn't have been enough of a progress over the HTC for me to bother even then. Also, its 4G frequencies didn't include the band used here in Ger

  4. Just an idea: Find a different cheap phone (possibly used with broken display) that also supports LineageOS, and try to build roms for that. when you feel comfortable doing that, you could switch to your Pro1

  5. tdm added a feature to his keyboard driver that allows the user to specify a custom keyboard map. Unfortunately there is no documentation (other than the source code), but you should be able to remap any non-modifier key (e.g. not shift or ctrl) to generate any keycode you want. By default, the QWERTY and QWERTZ maps are set to match each key to the glyph printed on top, but of course the FinQWERTY maps make different choices than F(x)tec did when they designed the two keyboard layouts. The relevant source code is here: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_fxtec_pro1/tree/line
