I've just uploaded my latest build of LineageOS16.0 (for SD835 Pro1), dated 20240820, to https://findus.zwergenschaenke.net/~puma/linux.html#lineagepro1 Changes since last month: Includes backported security patches up to the August 2024 Android Security Bulletins. Updates the bundled system WebView to Chromium 127.0.6533.103 (as shipped with official LOS 20 and 21). Have a lot of fun!2 points

I saw the email. Very disappointing regarding batteries. If the bundle a person paid for is batteries, then replacing them with earphones doesn't really help. I doubt the storage story as well.1 point

I got my phone - and it worked two weeks 😞 Fxtec haven't answered my emails and FB-message got automatic reply that they are not at workplace 😞 😞 Thus, I waited almost a month and wondered what to do to my phone... However, one of my friends made me try a laptop charger with USB-C - and, surprise, surprise, the battery loaded and now it works.1 point

Today I got an email notification from my US based mail forwarder. "You have a new package". I was baffled as I didn't remember having ordered anything recently... To my surprise, when I checked the package photos, there it was. "Sender: FX Technology"... So here I am, another customer who finally has had their phone shipped. Contribution #21XX1 point

14 years--that has to be a record! Though I did use 2 paper cups and a string as a phone during my first 8 years on the planet. Never ran out of battery, either 🙂1 point

I was wrong about the ten days – it's "usually ten days for repair", after checking the device and deciding whether it's on warranty or not. Haven't heard back from them yet, after close to a month now (they received it on July 25), and I just sent the the repair service an e-mail...0 points
