They were talking about 2-3 weeks, so the update may come soon. It's kind of sad, I'm at the point where I don't really care anymore at all. I hope they get it together. I'm waiting for over 10 months now. Canceling now seems to be the worse option.

Not sure how sharing mails here is allowed, as they state "it is strictly forbidden to share any part of this message" (Which I just basically did, well). I've asked about the status of QWERTZ models, and their message was along the lines of: They have not forgotten about my order, they are fulfilling the order backlog, experiencing some minor delays, they hope to fulfill the backlog in the next few weeks. Same stuff, different day..

I've really thought the userbase here is a bit smarter than that. Kind of sad.

As if there is a factory outside of china. So many companies have problems getting materials, fxtec is a small one and has probably issues as well. However, in this thread was stated that phones were produced but not yet shipped. They wanted to continue after the holiday season. So .. what is the status about that? Is shipping still the one thing that's missing, or not? Obviously not all phones would be done, but at least a chunk.

Hey, can we expect Android 10 and 11 on our phones, or will we have to use custom firmware for that? Does the phone have some kind of custom drivers we need to port, or is everything just "stock"?

I would not expect the phone in the very near future.

After a half a year of delay I don't really care if my phone comes later. I have managed to get used to my dying phone for now. I was in India for three weeks and could not make photos because my camera on my phone is broken. I can't always have my DSLR with me. That really sucked. However, humans dying is certainly worse. I hope they are all safe. Being on point now doesn't really matter anymore anyway. Please ensure everyone stays healthy.

So Dragonbox Shop had one QWERTZ Pro1 on their shop. I bought it, but it's yet unpaid. It's 60€ to have it now, instead of waiting more. I'm pretty sure it will take a whole month or more to get the Pro from FxTec directly. I know it's out of their control this time, but this goes on for half a year now and my current phone is more broken every day so I'm evaluating if it makes sense to spend more now..

I always make sure to have some popcorn at hand when I check out this forum. The intensity of whiny children is warming my heart. And the conspiracy theories are better than lizard people, and god forbid - a spherical earth. 😉

Just to add, with Magisk you can make Android behave as normally installed, and therefore can run banking apps as usual. I would rather chose Sailfish (Had both phones after N900, N9), the OS itself is really nice. But I need Android support and Sailfish was always a bit buggy for me. Therefore I will use Lineage, Magisk and a very very thin GApps layer to make most of the apps run. I try to ensure my privacy on this one. How annoying this can be to work outside of the cloud in regards of backups and time spending is experienced fairly quickly. But this time I'll mod my Android till it br

So one could argue that these phones are hand crafted from start to end! I'm really excited and seeing Liangchen with these phones, while reading these posts here kind of breaks my heart. Good things take time, and I can't wait for the device. I'm using my current phone up to the last bit, and it's dying every day a bit more. It's time for something new.

Now you even become defensive, going full on Karen mode, and complaining that they want some data from you, so they can help you for the fifth time. If I would do business with a guy like you, I would probably just cut the contract. People like you always mean trouble. Be happy they didn't start to ignore you after the second baseless complain.

While shipping stuff via ships is cheaper, it can take up to 30 days to arrive. Airfreight is more expensive, but usually doesn't even take a day. Depending on the location of course. I would not worry too much.

Yeah well some users remind me of children not getting their toy on a promised day. Why does the order number matter? Nothing matters here. They have stated when they send the batches out. I don't see a problem here except butthurt people who can't wait anymore. It's still a fresh new company that produces their first phone. A phone that seems to be very well thought through. Give those people some rest.
