Well we could live with that... I got a bit better, but mine is currently a REALLY minimalistic setup, and was with zero screen interaction, so that was to be expected. But in the order of 1% / hour would be what I'm used to see WITH the sim mounted and online on e.g. 22.1.

7-8% in 7 hours with flightmode on and mounted SIM.

@TeZtdeviceInteresting idea with the Aeroplane mode, I will try that overnight WITH the sim physically mounted. ADD: After 11 hours in Aeroplane mode it was down to 94%, so roughly 0.5% per hour. Certainly not impressive, but tolerable. Will recharge, and see what the day brings, but has not got my hopes up high..... ADD II: still bad out of Aeroplane mode

Update: From 85% to 20% in about 4,5 hours with about 30min. display time + Wifi + BT Next Test: Complete Flightmode without any connections (over night)

There are SO many things that could be tested and adjusted, that just might affect this, so really a complex job to pin-point. Just like FxTec never really pin-pointed the conditions in which the Pro1X has network issues.... But it sure could be interesting to dig into the differences. A bit sad it came with a semi-major update, making it much harder to give a qualified guess on where the bug was introduced.

Tomorrow I will test it for 12 hours and 85% battery, with just Wifi and BT. No GPS, no active SIM / network.

No, I have not bothered to fiddle with that, nor have I tried with a sim from another carrier.

You have sayd, that this problem is when you are connected to network with sim inside? Have you tested to play with network connection modes in 4636 menu?

Well, and this will probably be my last comment on this unless something changes-- I updated both my Pro1 x and Pro1 (in that order) today to the latest OTA updates. On both I downloaded the updates and performed the install and reboot. I also looked around on both to find some settings (the same on both). Otherwise, I just let them sit. Both started out at 85% battery (the max I allow them to charge). 7 Hours later, the pro1x was 73% and the Pro 1 was 75%. I'm going to declare pretty confidently that I don't have the battery drain problem.

one more note regarding protecting my battered Pro 1x: I ordered one of these cases, took out the wallet insert quite easily, increased the cut out at the bottom for the charging access, and figured out that if I open my Pro 1x, I can insert the bottom, keyboard portion into the case quite snugly, and then i can slide the phone close and open securely. I just have to memorize the locations of the up, down and power buttons as they don't correspond exactly, but not difficult. Now I don't feel like i'm risking another disaster. Hope this can be of help to others.

Well. I'm completely baffled by the phone on my Pro1 not working. My Pro1x works fine, so I don't think it;s a LOS problem. Since I almost never use my Pro 1 as a phone (so I don't actually know when this problem occured), I'm not highly motivated to trouble shoot it. Lol. If anything occurs to me I'll let you know. I will have to get around to trying out a new SIM card. Both my Pro1 and Pro1x are on T-Mobile, although the SIM in the pro1x is Ting. Bands for US T-mobile are 4 (1700/2100 MHz), 5 (850 MHz), 66 (extension of Band 4), 12 (750 MHz) and 71 (600 MHz). I don't think the P

I have a sim in. Have something I'm in the middle of, but will get the bands for you later this morning. It is T-Mobile US. But here is the curious thing... I don't use my Pro1 or Pro1x for calls, but they have sims and have always been capable if I needed to. I've suddenly discovered my Pro1 can't make calls, (my Pro1x does just fine still). I will investigate this further later.

This is a ping-post, as i updated the above post multiple times, and the conclussion this far is The 22.2 bug seems to be related to the presence of a SIM card!!

I'm happy I got mine but seems like when it's EOL I'll have to procure something else. AGH.... As usual... Too unfair.

(BTW it seems so greedy that the reduced current at 98% makes it hard to reach 99%, it has been at "98% - charging" for over half an hour 🙈... display off, checks about every five minute...) UPDATE: Got it charged to 100% and after 3h it is down to 96% and that is OK. So now I will try to reenable the stuff I disabled, and recharge. But still No sim, no WiFi, no apps UPDATE: After 75m it is down to 99% and that is OK. So now I tried to add sim and WiFi, no account, no apps, and recharged. UPDATE: After 4h it is down from 100 to 82% and that is not good, 4½ %/h... I will now remove WiF
