Been over 2 weeks, would like an official update.

That is great (well, great for reproducing the issue). Can you connect the device to a PC and run "adb shell cat /dev/kmsg" and then cause the issue to happen? Hopefully the device will show a kernel panic message before it resets.

But Android is? I have never heard from a company phone running Android since it was too easy for users to get viruses or break stuff by changing settings. As much as I hate Apple and as useless as Windows Mobile can be, I really understand why companies don't choose Android.

Nice. There actually isn't a screw there, it's just clips holding it in place. Had discussions about this in Discord a while back with @netman who can shed some more light on the hardware assembly. Mine still comes loose when I open the hardware keyboard very quickly with a loud snap, so I still have to treat it with gentle hands. The good thing is that any time it comes loose, I can easily snap it back in, but I still maintain that it's rather disappointing flaw considering how much the device costs.

Any idea when the "wake on double tap" will be back? It got taken out due to some bug afaik pretty early on. I really liked that on my PRIV x).

My camera and flashlight stopped working as well while I was on Lineage. I reflashed both lineage and stock, but it made no difference. I wasn't brave enough to try to open the device though 😄 I've contacted support about having it repaired.
