  1. As many people know, the situation in the US for choice of carrier has recently been obliterated. -T-Mobile is affordable and so far, accepting of most devices. However, they have AWFUL coverage, and once they retire their old network in December 2022, they may also begin cutting off devices. -AT&T has more or less cut off access to anybody that does not use an AT&T branded LTE/5g device as of the beginning of February. No more bring your own phone. RIP my BB Key2 -That leaves Verizon as the only remaining good option. They have the best coverage anyway, and they are mos

  2. Really sounds like the LineageOS charging bug. Have you tried if it charges normally after a reboot?

  3. I'm not running LineageOS, but I think I've cracked it, which leads me to believe that it was caused by wear and tear on the charger cable. As I mentioned previously the cable I was using wasn't clicking into the port. Over the last day and a half I've been using another cable, which does click into the port and the battery has actually charged while the handset is in use even when watching streaming TV and HD videos. In conclusion I'm wondering if the worn 'C' connector wasn't making contact correctly and maybe causing arcing rather than a reliable connection.

  4. A while ago I've bought two of these: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/32956500815.html I've already had success installing one of them. The adhesive strips which are included don't suffice, though; I've used B-7000 glue (and still the lower right corner doesn't stick perfectly; next time I'll take more care especially with the corners.).

  5. No soldering, just pressed the connector back to the socket firmly. Probably had come little bit loose when i dropped the phone or something.

  6. Not from USA but I encourage you to try to make this happen. I suggest you try to find out first if there is any info about Verizon's whitelist acceptance policy. If it seems your idea could be beneficial, you set up a goal how many users you need and try to get maybe help from someone to write a good presentation for people to subscribe. Then make a plan how you get people (persistent presence here and maybe on other platforms you think you find Fxtex users) and how you can get Fxtec team to team up with you. If you get them to team up with you the plan may change to be more beneficial.

  8. Managed to crack my screen as well. I also contacted fxtec support, but we'll see how long it takes for them to respond. Any suggestions where to buy a replacement which is willing to ship in Europe?
