My phone (December 2019) now also displays the ghost touch problems 😞 1.5 months out of warranty... My line is a little over the middle of the display when in portrait mode. So not exactly as shown in the videos above, but same problem. For me it also gets better when touching the screen at the bottom. No need to squeeze. I uploaded my latest Lineage 16.0 build, dated 20220225. It includes the February 2022 fixes from the 2022-02-05 Android Security Bulletin. These fixes are now backported to Lineage 16.0 by the good people at lineageos.org, as AOSP does not officially support Pie anymore. I bumped the Android security string to reflect this. I guess, the simple answer to this is (and has been for a while): No. The official Android 9 for the Pro1 is dead. I do not expect that there will be any more fixes from F(x)tec. Although the stock keyboard driver is open-sourced, producing a fixed driver and installing it in the stock ROM in binary form is probably not possible because of code signing. I am no expert on this though. The pragmatic way of getting better keyboard support would be to simply install a recent LineageOS release, which improved on the duplicate-stroke issue (besides many more enhancements). The relevan

F(x)Tec's February update on IGG says they are due to start manufacturing when Shiyan, in the Bao'an district of Shenzhen, "come[s] out of covid lockdown next week." I found this post on Baidu (in Chinese) stating that many restrictions in Shiyan were being lifted on 20 February, now two days ago. I think the speculation that the February update was written in relation to last week is correct. It's also possible that F(x)Tec really was expecting restrictions to be lifted next week, and it turned out they were lifted early

I have the same thing in my bottom left corner. I have no idea how and when it developed, I did accidentally drop it a few times but it was always in the case and never landed face down at least. I am not really bothered by it but maybe it's actually a design flaw but only a few people experience it, or just poor display QC maybe. I can't really complain though, this is the only small issue I have since getting my unit. It's a bit of a bummer that it kills some of the resell price should I sell it later but oh well.
