The current 5G solution (SD855) is actually a 4G SoC + 5G modem. In theory, SD835 *could* get 5G as well. But this is down to Qualcomm's decision. For the current set-up it does not support 5G.

Also what are the additional keys? I can see ä, ö, ü being added and ß Is the "Mu" key (on top of M in @TeZtdevice image) needed as well?

Thanks for the ideas. What we think the best is adding German keys and swap Y and Z. If you notice from our QWERTY layout, some symbols were placed on the left, to make the letters in the middle to be reachable with both thumb. Just copying a PC layout will shift the main letters too close to left and make it harder for the right thumb. How about: - Moving some of the symbols to the secondary keys of letters, and add German letters to the previous symbol keys - Or, adding German letters as the secondary key on top of letters What do you think?

That's a very good question. We intend to deliver with the changeable plug. But if not, we will try to do the local adapter for you. :)

We heard you! QWERTZ layout is under the plan! What is your preferred places to place the additional German letters? What will be your ideal German QWERTZ layout? Please tell us, and we will try to deliver it same time with QWERTY. :)

Team FXtec designed the whole device. But part of our engineers of the slider part, who has previously involved in designing Nokia sliders. This sliding structure is a very sophisticated structure, there is no off-the-shelf solution but has to be designed bespoke with each device. (Take a look on N950 and E7 they are actually quite different) Regarding back cover, I agree it's not the nicest. But remember this is the engineering sample, it will change in the future and we can't wait to show you.
