Doubt it will help. I have problems with screen being slightly to the right, it can be felt but can't be shown on photos, however I can lift the screen with nails because it extends little over the top case and I showed it to them and it's a nice place for a dust to get under the screen and it can be perfectly shown on photos. Support didn't quite believe me even after sending videos and when I asked them few times for the location of closest authorized service so they can confirm it, they ignored that question few times. I guess I will try again... They've seen that my phone was dropped once so they thing it's because of that. They told me that all they can do is to send me new screen IF it's justified and that's all, however it's clear that the problem is not the screen itself. And who's going to fix the phone for me? Fxtec warranty is as good as none when there's no one to fix the phone.

I guess that F(x)Tec would pick up my current phone and I would have to wait in the line like everyone else leaving me without the phone for a long time. Clove would either immediately send a replacement(which they don't have currently) or give me full refund. If the phone would have to be repaired then they would have to replace the top part of the phone, I think it's the reason of the problem, this also probably could fix the wobble because it's on the connection of upper part. Question is if they can get that entire part to replace(so far no info about spare parts and it's custom made part) or if it's easier to replace the phone once they are available.

Right now I don't know if I still want a Pro1. My phone is an important communication tool and my de facto primary computing device. Virtual keyboards suck so I do want a physical keyboard, but not at the expense of the rest of the device's functionality. I'd rather have a good phone and put up with a virtual keyboard, than have a keyboard on a bad phone. I await with interest what happens in the next few months or so...
The keyboard of Pro1 itself is great but suffers currently from software issues that are being worked on. Once they fix it it will be a mile better than virtual one. Also it takes a lot of time to learn to use it properly. The performance is also great. The phone looks great with opened keyboard but as soon as I close it I feel like the "magic" goes away. I used Samsung mid-range phones before and I hated their performance and planned obsolescence but now I see that they were much more comfortable to use in portrait than Pro1... not because of size but because of button placement, every button on Samsungs was in perfect location. It's not something that only "big" manufacturers can do. It may seem weird to care about these right side buttons that much but each of us actually unlocks their phone during the day a lot and it's not that trivial matter. Even after almost 4 weeks I still need to look at right-side buttons(volume, power, fingerprint sensor) when I want to press them, they aren't in intuitive locations, they are all cluttered in single place. Curved screen is also a big problem, I used a curved screen phone for a moment but I didn't have as big problems with it as I have in Pro1, I don't know why. If you dislike curved screens or you have big fingers, the screen of Pro1 will annoy you a lot.
Also there are software issues like for example broken screen brightness or clicking sound in earbuds, also the default camera app is horrible and camera button is hardcoded to it. It will be a good sign if F(x)Tec repairs that until general availability. If F(x)Tec won't fix all software issues... I can hardly see myself using the phone by the end of this year.
If you don't want to have Pro1 ASAP then it's indeed good thing to wait and see first what F(x)Tec does with current software issues when they hit general availability. Also maybe next batches will have phones with better quality. I'm not a person that wants to root Pro1 and put whatever alternative system available. I will run stock Android on it until I stop using the phone at all... so if F(x)Tec won't fix software issues I won't be happy. I just wanted a phone with keyboard... I disliked Samsung a lot for their planned obsolescence but Pro1 made me praise how comfortable their phones were to use in daily life(when they still worked correctly). Just to note, I was using Samsung phones from 2012.
So, a person that wants to ungoogle their phone, put a Sailfish OS or whatever system on it because this is most important for them and still uses a > 5 years old phone or maybe even older physical qwerty phone will be happy with Pro1 even if Pro1 would barely usable at all. That's probably why some people go with saying that Pro1 is a "genius" work and god emperor F(x)Tec forbids anyone to tell anything bad about Pro1. Personally, the Fairphone 3 is more "genius" than Pro1 in my eyes. Pro1 is just a phone, very expensive one, and someone buying a phone for a price like that doesn't want to be annoyed when using it. I could live with a slab as well. Sadly, Pro1 shows that it's impossible to revive landscape sliders... unless maybe a big company tries to do it but nobody is going to risk that. So if anyone wants landscape slider out of nostalgia, Pro1 will be probably a last chance to ever have a phone like that.

Hold up, edgy boy. Pro1 is not any "genius" work and you talk about it like Fxtec is some kind of world savior or god emperor and everyone who doesn't follow your Fxtec religion is worthless. I just wanted a $720 phone that is perfectly usable. If you think that posting flaws and telling what is wrong with the phone is a bad thing then you are just a fanatic.

I did not mention letter shifted qwerty being a flaw at all. The wobble is in closed position at the bottom of the phone, it wobbles from the left to right making sounds when it moves. I asked people here about that and so far nobody else had the same issue.
By "right side buttons" I meant volume, power and fingerprint sensor. Not the keyboard.

I feel like you completely didn't understand my previous post. Where did I want a PC with phone capabilities? I wanted a smartphone with keyboard and issues I mentioned happen in portrait mode.
The phone is annoying to use in portrait, the fingerprint sensor throws errors even when I hold the phone because it's too low and my hand covers it when I hold the phone. I had to disable "press" vibrations because of that because my phone was just randomly vibrating from time to time. Popular phones with side mounted fingerprint sensor have then in upper part of the phones because of that, someone at F(x)Tec decided to put their side fingerprint sensor on bottom part of the phone. It's a very bad design, a flaw. Even when I grab the phone, I usually trigger sensor errors by mistake. Another problem is that there's button directly above the sensor and it's power button. When I press it, I automatically trigger fingerprint sensor error as well.
Camera button feels like it's about to fall out of the phone. There's a slight "press" feel in "focus" stage but absolutely no feeling in "take photo" stage so it's difficult to know when and if you take the photo at all. Honestly I preferred taking photos with volume buttons on my old phone instead of that dedicated camera button in Pro1. Ah, and I forgot final flaw, the vibration motor, it's extremely weak and my old smartphones had a LOT stronger vibrations(even tested it side to side lately). I miss a lot of notifications because of that. These are things that could be done in any smartphone, slider or slab. I thought that the Pro1 will be just thicker smartphone with keyboard, it isn't. If you removed a keyboard from Pro1 and sold it as a slab, it would be below average smartphone that is just uncomfortable to use.
Curved screen is a mistake in Pro1. The phone is heavier than regular one so it would be even easier to break it, also good luck holding a phone in a portrait mode with one hand above your head, for example in bed. It's almost impossible to have a firm grip on a heavy phone like that without touching the sides of curved screen. Even in normal use I find it difficult sometimes not to touch the screen by mistake.
Yes, I wanted just a phone with keyboard, the problem is that the Pro1 doesn't seem to be designed well for portrait use and anyone coming from 2017, 2018 or even 2019 smartphone will see that. This community has a lot people who even used Nokia N900 or Photon Q phones until they got Pro1 so they can't really compare other new smartphones to Pro1.
Anyway, I don't know how you want to open Titan, it's BB Passport-like phone.
In my eyes, F(x)Tec worked so hard on designing the keyboard and repairability of the phone that they forgot about everything else. They could just give production samples to friends and family and told them to use the phone in portrait-only to find all of these issues. Now it's too late.

Nice... I wrote both to fxtec and clove.co.uk(because I bought my phone from them), let's see what fxtec writes about it. I actually prefer to get a replacement from clove once they get their next batch because at least when they have it, they will send it immediately unlike fxtec.

The problem with Pro1 is that most design flaws are not related to being a slider. Bad placement of right side buttons(the worst I've seen in any smartphone), bad camera button(the worst I've seen in any phone, there's no press feeling between "focus" and "make photo" stages), loose sim tray that makes sounds, curved screen that in my case I can lift with nails at the sides and only one flaw that the Pro1 has because of being a slider, the wobble on the bottom of my unit, is there because the bottom part of the phone lacks the second support like the top part. It can't be fixed with simple software update.

Just to make things clear, the gap in the red circle is there because i can lift the screen with my nails(which shouldn't be allowed to happen anyway) and what the gap looks like normally without any lifting is circled with yellow circle, however in that yellow circle it looks like that at all edges, even left ones.

Something like that, the right side of the screen goes a little bit farther than the top part. When I move my finger from the top part to the screen I can feel the difference, unfortunately it's impossible to make a photo of it.

I circled how the gap should look like and how it looks when I lift the screen with nails to make some things clear.
I checked it more closely now... and when I look closely at the screen line looking from the top to bottom, it looks like the top part that hold the screen is slightly warped on the right side, left part is also slightly warped at one point but it's barely noticeable. So, the reason is probably not the screen itself but low quality production of the top part that makes me able to lift the right side of the screen with my nails.

Another problem is curved screen, don't know if you already saw that but a lot of dust goes under the screen on curved parts. You can lift the curved screen on the edges even with your nails, there's no protection there.
Top and bottom parts of the screen are fine because are flat but curved screen + nonglued screen will be a nightmare in the future, I don't know how it is designed under the screen but if there are some parts vulnerable for dust, there will be a lot of failures. I still don't understand why they put curved screen into Pro1, I don't care about "fancy" look.
As you can see, my phone already got some dust inside. This would be a perfect way for water to go into the phone even with things like 3,5mm jack or usb port secured. Anyway, Pro1 made me dislike curved screen phones.
EDIT:
It happens only on the right edge, at least in my case. The screen is slightly to the right, it's not directly on the center, I don't know if it's QA failure or an actual design.

I find it amusing that Unihertz Titan already sent their phones and still they had more than double amount of preorders than Pro1 while not many people got their Pro1 yet. Some people are trying to sell their Titans for absurd prices to make money on it. I heard that main issues are software but from hardware side the phone seems great which a plus over Pro1 flawed design choices because software can be always fixed unlike hardware.
Btw. I'm 100% sure that there were no Beta testers at all for Pro1 and it was just PR move to show that something was "happening".

After using Pro1 for two weeks I feel like the curved screen is a big mistake. I have big fingers and I find myself accidentally pressing the screen a lot, especially when trying to use a phone with one hand. Null Edge app has problems with swipe, even with "experimental" enabled so if you begin your swipe at "nulled" edge, nothing will be recognized like you didn't even press the screen at all. If Fxtec ever want to produce any other device, I hope they will ditch curved screens. The curved screen is entirely against "function is a key" motto of Fxtec. But this isn't the only design issue of Pro, there's also terrible button placement on right side of the phone, worst camera button I've even seen in a phone and vibration motor is extremely bad. About the vibration, I couldn't understand why I was missing all notifications with my phone in my pocket... until I tested Pro1 against my old barely working Samsung Galaxy J5 2017, the strength of Pro1 vibration is nothing compared to what my old phone offered. I can't see myself using the device for 4-5 years like I wanted to. Pro1 is a great device when you open the keyboard but it's not really good device when using it as a regular smartphone. They spent so much time designing keyboard and repairability and these things are really amazing, everything else however isn't good, except the performance.
I can't understand how testers didn't find these issues before production started. The simplest thing they could do was to create ~10-15 final production samples and give them to friends and family and told them to never open the keyboard, just use the phone like a regular slab and tell what is wrong with the phone.
Fxtec needs to create a software that will give some workarounds for all these design flaws. I doubt they have money to create some kind of "Pro1.1" that quickly. I really want to use the phone but there are so many frustrating things with it right now.
About the screen. It would be fine if there was a choice like other manufacturers give but there isn't any other landscape keyboard phone to choose from.

That's valid point, bashing hardware was out of place but we don't know which bugs had their version, maybe their version suffered from poor performance, we won't know. My Pro1 for example suffers from wobbling, something i hear doesn't happen in other devices.

And you missed the point of how phones are designed today. Learning curve must be as small as possible for the user. In my country when you buy a phone from some retailers you can even pay them to install your apps and configure the phone. The review is clearly a "first impressions" one and it's a normal that any "first impressions" review won't be happy with keyboard. Put Pro1 among other phones in the market, let people touch the keyboard, I guess that almost everyone will tell that it's very uncomfortable.
Also, then who should review the phone, again, a guy that told that waited for the phone for months and one of the first thing he wanted to do was to install LineageOS? Please... you forgot that your pickup truck was disguised as EV and you showed it to people who drive EVs.
Look at Clove review for example, it says about the hardware and the fact that it has a keyboard, OK, but then show a price tag. When most of people are fine using a slab, will they find a reason to experiment buying a phone that is twice as expensive as Xiaomi or Huawei with same internals? No.

Oh, you finally got it right! The Pro1 is made for minority, extremely small minority, that's why there aren't even 3000 valid orders. 7 years without any keyboard sliders? If people wanted it that much, we would have many more orders. The truth it, keyboard sliders are no more and Pro1 is not a friendly phone for average user mainly because of software issues and learning curve, something that doesn't exist in other smartphones. I bought it because I like landscape keyboard phones, I've never rooted the phone, never entered the command line on it or opened a SSH app on it because I use laptop for things like that.
I have the phone and if you don't care about that much about the keyboard there's no reason to buy Pro1, besides countless software issues, side button placement is poorly designed, camera button just sucks, price is high, anyone who didn't fanatically wait for landscape slider won't understand why someone can buy a phone like that, if someone is comfortable with using virtual keyboard, why even bother? This is how it is today. You can shout how "perfect" is Pro1. No it's not. It's a fun device but it's not for "average" user, average user will just get angry using it. I show it to my brother who wanted to see it so much and thought it's cool that landscape slider came back to life, after not even two minutes he gave me back the phone, he wasn't pleased with it.
People on this forum is an extremely small minority, reviews won't be tailored to you.
First sentence of Gigadoc2 pretty much sums up everything all your complains about "wrong" people creating reviews.

I don't need to force it actually. I can just slide my finger from left to right and I head that noise and it happens in every day handling. If I lightly tap bottom right side of the phone when the hinge is I can also hear that sound. For me this is a lack of build quality, especially because no one else experience issues like these it seems.
In the video I wasn't even forcing it that much.
EDIT: Also, the top hinge is completely fine and from what I see they aren't different in construction.

You can listen to what is happening when I move my finger left and right on the phone, first I show that everything is OK on the top and then I do the same on the bottom, you need to put your volume up to hear that because quality of my mic in old phone is poor:
The same happens the I tap the screen stronger.
It was like that from the start, it seems that phones don't pass proper quality checks after assembling. I wish I could ask for a replacement but I know I will have to wait few months for it... Shame on Fxtec.
Since you are quite familiar with Pro1 now, could you help me fix it in any way so my phone doesn't feel like a cheap Chinese toy, please?

Just a question, do your devices have wobbling problem when closed? My Pro1 wobbles at the bottom at it takes away that "premium" feeling. I wonder how many has the same problem. Hook's device doesn't have any wobbles from what he wrote in other topic. It was like that from the beginning for me and I only started thinking about it after I heard that some people experience no wobble at all.

Kinda funny seeing people comparing two biased reviews (android authority vs xda) and of course calling people names because someone said that Pro1 is not worth buying. Also, these are two separate reviews, one is for masses and second is for geeks(do you really expect "normal" people to care about LineageOS or SailfishOS at all?).
Android Authority tells actually about some problems but there are things that are unfair or weird, like saying that hardware gives "janky" performance. For me so far everything feels excellent when it comes to performance.
But there are still some valid problems in this review. The keyboard is difficult to open at first, I learned how to open it properly with two hands and with one hand it's still difficult and I usually just press all the buttons at the opposite side, this is probably a thing that you need to get used to, however the first impression is indeed that it's too difficult to open. Volume button is fine for me but I have the same concerns with camera button, you can feel the "focus" click but nothing can be felt when actually taking photo, you just press the button stronger and hope that it works.
When it comes to fingerprint sensor, it's way better than my previous phone when it comes to fingerprint recognition. Sometimes there are still problems with reading but nowhere as bad in my previous phone. However the sensor is indeed too low. When I hold the phone in one hand the sensor is throwing errors because a part of my hand covers it. It's sometimes even throwing errors when unlocked, the phone still vibrates randomly because of it. I also usually trigger it(with errors) when I try to grab the phone. In my eyes all buttons should be way higher. I can't understand the design decision made on that part, it feels like it wasn't really deeply thought.
Of course there are also some weird things in that review like telling that keyboard is not backlit(lol) or that some apps are stuck in portait(well, maybe because that person didn't knew they don't support landscape at all?).
Together with tons of software bugs the phone suffers a lot and in hands of anyone who doesn't feel the must of having the physical keyboard this phone is not worth that money. For me it's more the software that makes the phone feels like it's running some sort of buggy beta software. If you give it to anyone just wanting a phone, you will also hear "what the hell is that?" opinion. Pro1 is not a phone that works flawlessly from the start like other slab phones and you shouldn't omit the problems with it when talking to average user or else they will get angry once they get the phone in their hands. The phone is not perfect. Android Authority review shows that it's made by someone who doesn't see much reason of having a physical keyboard at all, yeah, but who else should review Pro1 for average user? A person that waited months for Pro1 wanting to install LineageOS on it? Do you really need a review that is targeted to Pro1 pre-order customers? Reviews are not targeted for physical QWERTY enthusiasts but for Average Joe. And Average Joe doesn't care that a phone is made by a startup or that can have LineageOS installed on it, Average Joe just wants a phone. Of course Android Authority review is a bit unfair, especially when it comes to performance but there are still valid things in that review. Or maybe the unit they got had some problems? So far there are some people that experience some issues with Pro1 that other don't. For me currently software issues are really making the phone less usable than my old one and I hope that all software issues will be fixed.

Hmm, really not even a single wobble? When closed, my Pro1 wobbles in the bottom and when I press the screen at the bottom and move my finger from left to right I can head parts hitting each other, also when I tap the bottom of the screen I can also hear parts hitting each other. The top of the phone is fine however.
For me the wobble, camera button and button placement on the right are main concerns, it makes the phone feel much less "premium" than it should be. The wobble was the "standard" thing in the old keyboard phones I had so I don't care, but the rest of problems is valid. The software issues(I hope all are software issues) are something that I hope will be fixed.

I had one headset I could't get to work with any of my phones and simply switched to headphones only.Thanks, it's a good news because it means that it's software issue. This problem only happens with Pro1 for me and with all earbuds I have. I hope it will be fixed soon.

Wired, 3,5mm plug. First two days I also had no problems but now there's constant clicking sound. My phone was always lying on a flat surface so no stress for the connector. It also may be an update that broken it.

There's another bug that started happening yesterday:
When I use earbuds I hear "clicking" or "popping" sound every half second in right earbud. It's subtle but extremely annoying and noticeable. It's happening with every media file in every app and with every earbud, I started using my old phone for music because of that.

It saddens me that there are so many bugs, there were supposed to be beta tests for fixing all these issues, right? It seems like there weren't any...
When it could be fixed, please? Please any OFFICIAL update on these bugs?

On my Relay 4G, with a super amoled screen, I don't see the same issue. The lower right in the picture is a bit problematic due to lack of details in the original, I think, but it does seem like colors are severely muted and details in the neck scales are lost in your photos of your pro1 screen. Were those taken with flash off?
Tried both default app and third-part one, same effect. I wish I had a better camera to take photos of the screen but this is all I can do. yes, these were with flash off, taken in complete darkness.

Exactly this, gray-greenish wash over everything, like some light of single colored pixel group was being not properly set. I also see, as you described, that instead of losing brightness there's just something going on with colors. Can you confirm that everything is fine as long as brightness is above 50%?
I also hope it's a software issue, I wish there was someone with Elephone U Pro to confirm this.

Sorry for double-post but I want to post two more bugs:
- Backlight of the keyboard doesn't turn on then the phone is waken up with already opened keyboard(open the keyboard, turn off the display, wake up the phone, keyboard is not lighted up)
- Brightness settings causes major color distortions, making images look bad which amplified by the fact that pixels turn off in AMOLED displays, I've never had anything like that in my old AMOLED phone: here are more about it: Also, the brightness changed a lot between 50% and 100% and colors there are OK, however between 0% and 50% brightness barely changes and it introduces color distortions.

I also had a phone with AMOLED display before and did not have problems like that. The difference between black in pixels turned on and off was barely noticeable.
Back to Pro1, I have some images on the phone where blacker spots on the picture are completely black and I experience some heavy color distortions. This doesn't happen at brightness above 50%. However I believe this is not caused by AMOLED turning off pixels but because of other colors being distorted, making a difference between almost black and completely black just huge.
I can show how this photo looked like in my old AMOLED phone if you want.
Here's example, the image I use in examples is not mine! Unfortunately I don't have a good camera to show how extreme the differences are, I'm using my old phone for this. The image below is the most extreme case of this bug when it's most noticeable:

Colors become bleak and you can see lots of black spots, especially on the bottom-right and where the head connects to the neck. In these areas AMOLED pixels turn off. I think they should turn off, it's just that other colors are incorrect and become extremely bleak instead of becoming darker, making a transition from almost-black to completely-black just bad, It looks much worse in real life than in these photos.
But I ask everyone to try the same on the same image on your Pro1, go to the completely dark room, try opening the image in 100% and 0% brightness:

How did you make "Detect edge swipes" working? It does not work for me and not being able to swipe is as painful as accidental touches on edges.
