brunoais 334
How to install Magisk on PRO¹-X? Is it similar to this manual ? Where to find the img files for recovery and such? Are they in the google drive mentioned here?
Rob. S. 1,660
The question has also turned up on XDA today, with links to the necessary boot.img file, which indeed seems to relate to the file @Casey Cheung linked to here. The rest I'd suppose should be the same as for the Pro¹... (Personally, I guess I'll wait with root until LineageOS becomes available. Unrooted stock Android on the Pro¹ X so far is a much better experience than I expected.) Edited August 13, 2022 by Rob. S. 1
brunoais 334
Just noticed. The file on google changed too. It used to be a .gz file and now it's a tar.gz with multiple files. Now I can find the boot.img and others I was looking for.

I am still using my OnePlus for online banking etc.

mosen 202
There is an official Pro¹-X rooting guide using the Magisk boot.img patch method here. 1
