sequestris 654
Nothing is wrong with it, I just thought maybe I should get one in case things go belly-up ya know. So I emailed and the want £99 + Shipping. For a battery. They Want $118.25 USD for a phone battery plus shipping. So I asked if they could deduct it from the $829USD that they owe me for the cancelled Pro1X order. Results pending... 🤣 Edited March 2 by sequestris
jakfish 22
Planet Computer jacks up to similar prices for batt replacement in the Gemini and Cosmo. AND you have to send the phones to London; they won't mail just the battery. My Gem and Cos molder in a drawer.

I'm still waiting for the one I've ordered and paid for on IGG in 2020, shortly after ordering the Pro1X I've been using for the last six months.

There are a lot of restrictions and regulations in order to ship a battery by itself, especially through air freight. That's why they prefer to ship the battery with the phone as it requires less documentation and procedures.

(Unfortunately, in the process of successfully replacing the USB part, I broke a few other things which arent's as easily replaceable...)
