I am sorry you do not have your phone. I understand your misgivings and frustration. But I can tell you it is SO worth it. Zero problems and I have had it since January.

Your are one Year old now, I was hoping you d have grown up a little more, to a shipped order, or even a received order. But you are just a Pre Order, you can't do anything by yourself, and sometimes i really wondering "What s the Point". Fx Tec, got me last year with their news about OTA update, I told my self, wow those guys are really pros. I think you all remember this one: Then came most fraudulous email ever at the start of August And yet I fell for it and paid... Shipping in early September, what a joke, now you can tell it, when you got all the money

Now after 59 days and 11 hours of uptime my phone got a spontaneous reboot.

No, there was a need for a screwdriver and a prying tool for what I did. The keyboard is glued, but I didn't feel the need to go into it.

It went together fairly well, the hinges are the worst of it. The spheroid is still a bit of a mystery to me.

Sold.

Thanks for taking the time to take the photos and post the pictures. I haven't been active much otherwise I would have posted earlier when you had it apart, etc. Hope putting it back together worked well and the cat didn't feast on the guts. :-) I laughed about the gray spheroid. :-)

Noone ever said otherwise. My "estimation" was not about what they might want to do, it was about what I expect they can do.

Actually, it's late for me, so I've safely stored the thing in a cat inaccessible area, and I'll rebuild it tomorrow night.

Well, managed to pull it apart somewhat. There was a bit of corrosion on the body under the screen, but it doesn't seem to be bothering any connections. One of the three screws holding together the hinges was an absolute nightmare to remove, it stopped dead with maybe a half turn to go. I stripped the head almost completely with a screwdriver, and just barely got it out by jamming a needle file into the wounded slots. The threaded portion felt jagged, I think the screw was defective to begin with. Note: take out the damn card tray before you start, it interferes taking the keyboard suppor
