  1. Email [email protected] to arrange a warranty repair for both of them. Please note, we're a little flooded with the recent batch at the moment, it may take a few days to get a reply, and then a couple of weeks to repair it once it arrives. We're going through all the piled repairs from the last few months of lockdown.

  2. Hi. Since installing the 20200620 update, I've noticed a Wireless Update notification (a plain circle) often popping up for a few seconds then disappearing. It seems to appear pretty much each time the Pro1 gets internet access - i.e. turning off and turning on Wi-Fi can trigger it. I've never had this behaviour in all previous updates. Wireless Update is set to check Daily. Has anyone else seen this too? Is it likely to be draining my battery unnecessarily? Any ideas how to stop this? EDIT: Not just Wireless Update.

  3. My understanding is yes. My safetynet quit passing around March, I looked up why, and that's why. Google pushes the update silently. There's more info about it out there and I certainly could be wrong, but I gave up on my device passing safetynet anymore... To the best of my knowledge the only way to past safetynet now is on stock software w/o root.

  4. I ordered the phone before the pre-order campaign ended. Pre-order must be completed before selling in market.

  6. I beg to differ 😉 Android wasn't really designed to be rooted by the user, and if it can be in a device, it's by no obvious or openly available means. Means which neither Android itself nor the device's manufacturer openly provided. Some devices are not rootable at all, like the Priv. Properly done, root access would have been implemented like other operating systems do, as temporarily elevated privileges with no need to put the whole device in a permanent state of being unsafe. The fact that it wasn't done like that can only be attributed to Android as the operating system, and its

  7. Well I finally received one of these cases. The phone cover magnet does seem stronger than I was expecting, however I still doubt it will survive a decent drop. That combined with the barely holding magnetic latch means I expect the case will just fly apart as soon as it hits the ground. The latch may hold better if I remove the card holder from this case like I did my previous one, but at this point I'm holding out for a 3D printed bumper case anyway.

  8. Hi Everyone, Latest update. I took Eskerahn's suggestions and made the fillets larger for the button/charger/earphones. Eskerahn also asked about the speaker cutout and my wife wanted a place to put charms for her phone. So I combined the two. See pics below. The print quality was not as good as it was before but that is because I made a mistake and printed at a lower density. Will be printing a brand new set next weekend for the wife and I will be inheriting her old case. I haven't worked with the PCTPE yet. As I mentioned before we don't utilize the fingerpring reader so our

  9. Hey guys. Just wanted share the case I printed out for my wife. She wanted a functional opening case that would protect her phone and won't fly off when it opens. After many attempts I was able to get it to work. I'm probably going to modify it some more and tweak my print settings to make it a lot nicer and possible do some post print finishing.
