  1. @DieBruine and other keyboard testers, here is a new test image: http://files.nwwn.com/android/pro1/boot-stock-kbd-3.img This switches the irq/event logic to the Lineage code. The remaining differences between this and the official Lineage driver are really just the de-ghosting logic.

  2. Possibly the most annoying thing ever implemented into android, the "Direct Share" functionality puts random people you never want to send things directly to above all other apps in the "Share Via" panel, causing randomness when opening and essentially causing people to send weird things to random people by accident. Galaxy phones have a method of turning off this feature. This feature can easily be turned off by blocking it via root. However, there is no good way to turn it off without root. Other replacement apps cannot for example share images so these are not satisfactory alterntives. So w

  3. I believe the backup page you are seeing is for Google stuff. It does not backup app data or system settings, as far as I know. A fully functional TWRP is one way to do a full backup of your data. However, we do not have a fully functional TWRP yet -- the feature you need to make this work is data decryption, and I have not gotten that working yet. It's pretty high on my todo-list though. If you are familiar with Unix/Linux commands, you can use "dd" (paired with "gzip") to backup your data to a PC. There really isn't any other option to do a full data bac

  4. in the FinQwerty layouts the Esc-key acts as Esc if the app supports Esc, otherwise it has a fallback as Back. On the "fallback" all I know is what can be seen in the "Behaviours" section of this So maybe Chrome has implemented Esc as e.g. stop loading a page. In Stock layouts it just sends Back. But the fallback solution in FinQwerty makes Esc available to apps where it is crucial such as Termux.

  6. as I understand it esc works as "back", and it does in many cases, but not in chrome. why is that? chrome is one of the apps there this function would be most useable (at least for me)

  7. Hi everyone, I would like to back up the phone to my computer, as I now have it, kind of, set up like I would like it to run. I currently have LOS and installed the Google apps: I've found the Backup page in settings and it backs up to Google Drive. If I needed to wipe the phone in the future, when I restore it will it just look exactly like it does now? E.g. Apps, settings, the fine details of Nova Launcher, etc? If I decide to try LOS WITHOUT GOOGLE or SAILFISH, I presume that the above backup will no longer be of use! How do I backup the phone in another w

  10. Hello, again. I also made a bumper case 🙂 It helps me to avoid touching screen edges by accident. I also noticed that I could hold Pro1 securely because FDM printed layer lines work to prevent slipping. You can download the data from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4618945
