I've gotten the initial response back from f(x)tec support and they've confirmed that I am still covered, so now just going over some basic troubleshooting with them. Here's hoping!
Yeah. It's just such a shame that 18-ish years ago I could nuke my Palm Zire 71, do whatever experiments I wanted, and then put it on the cradle, press a button, and everything would be recovered.
Android is still a mess of some apps that restore their configs, some that don't, etc. Just awful.
Yes it is two different issues.
One is something gotten loose or worn, the last should be unlikely this soon. For the loose I too would check the screws as the first guess.
Another is that the support-arm when closed are free, and thus can rattle a little if you shake the device, a tiny piece of ½-1mm thick self-adhesive rubber or felt can be placed in the 'groove' for it. to inhibit its movement.
Why do they limit the devices that can download it from the playstore based on safetynet, but then provide an APK themselves? That doesn't make any sense lmao.
@Rob. S. eh, it's not just Telekom. The entire 3G network is being shut off in Germany in favour of 4G/5G. See -> https://www.computerbase.de/2021-06/3g-abschaltung-telekom-vodafone-telefonica/ (German article with rough time estimates). And yes, in my apartment/house you don't get GSM reception.
I'm not so sure about it. The speaker works fine for me most of the time, it's just sometimes the audio switches to muffled for some reason, but that also happens when I make the call via Wifi. While standing next to the router.
I'm not sure what causes the buzzing/static on the receivin
