Is this still an issue? And in that case, what is the issue? Running lineage-18.1-20210726-nightly-pro1-signed.zip and just copied /vendor/usr/keychars/Builtin_Keyboard.kcm to /data/system/devices/keychars/Vendor_181d_Product_5018.kcm Changed letter "A" to "P" as a test and it works flawless

After installing LineageOS 16 and then back to 18.1 together wit nikgapps core it works like a charm.

They actually have a pretty good track record in delivery the stuff sometime. It just takes forever.

I had exactly the same, even was looking at the phone while it turned black. Still trying to repair it, but I will have to send it in I think. BUT I MISS THAT DAMN THING EVERYTIME I PICK UP MY PHONE 😪 So please send the thing in for repair and then sell it to someone who is as desperate as me!

I'm still starting small. After I managed to break the screen a few weeks ago by dropping the device (had it repaired), yesterday I poured a good measure of beer over it (thankfully non-alcoholic, otherwise it would have also been a shame because of the beer) – good thing the phone was closed, I switched it off, cleaned it, dried it and it took no harm...

You can actually implement that kind of feature by changing keyboard based on the orientation. For example Hacker's Keyboard has an option to enable virtual keyboard when the real keyboard is open. So you are able to use that keyboard portrait and then select different keyboard for landscape. Just use MacroDroid (or similar) for the automation (orientation thing) and Keyboard Switch Assistant for the switch. I tested that feature earlier except that I changed keyboard app by typing key combination. See more from here:

Sent a follow up for my replacement screen ticket that was opened since March and last replied to back in May, no response from Fx so far.

It seems I have a similar issue, I might have to do the same. Also charging only works if the cable is at a certain angle.
