Considering how people here and on IGG analyse (and maybe over-interpret?) these monthly reports, I think they spend quite some time writing those up. I can imagine they plan very carefully what to publish and how to present it in a way such as to cause least damage to the project. It is easy for us to ask for more honest reports and estimates, but unfortunately it is also a fact that many customers need the harsh reality to be "embellished" for them, or else they jump ship. And why should they? It wouldn't take 5 minutes to tell everyone what they already know - that production was not finished before Chinese New Year - so why not fulfil their obligations and post it? If production was complete there would surely have been a happy update so they're just annoying everyone by saying nothing rather than only annoying the vocal 10% of backers who don't understand crowdfunding.

Well, I've tried it now, flashed the vendor.img to both slots, but it doesn't work. After flashimg the phone just allways reboots to fastboot mode. So, I did the full stock restore and it's now working again with the display touchscreen driver updated (or at least the touchscreen doesn't have the weird margin as before). So now I'm going back to Lineage. I was ready to do the full reflash anyway, so it's not a big deal the vendor.img reflash didn't work for me, but I wanted to give it a try at least.

I like most the ones that tell me F(x)tec is a fake company and that my Pro1 does not exist. 🙃 Thinking that through, it follows that we in this forum as well as all other people publishing Pro1 videos on the web, discussing bugs and hardware issues, making custom ROMs, etc., are just actors hired to distract from the fact that Fxtec have long moved to the Caribbean where they spend their backer's money on expensive cigars. One wonders if setting up such an elaborate smoke screen would really be easier (or cheaper) than just producing the phone after all ...

I have read that Discord channel discussion before the flash and it seems that the person who tried it (sorgo) did it few months ago, so it could actually work on that slightly older Lineage version, or maybe he did some additional or different steps back then, I don't know. I'm back on Lineage, restored backup (Swift Backup with root FTW! 😉 ) and nearly everything is as before with the touchscreen working as it should, finally.

Thanks for testing and reporting. Seems like we have got conflicting information at some point then.

I have the Planet Gemini and a Pro1. I cannot speak for the cosmo, but it seems to be roughly the same hardware. I strongly regret my purchase of the Gemini, to me I wasted a LOT of money. I have tried to make it my daily driver for 2 months, it was a nightmare. Starting with the main point of this device, the keyboard. Even if I think it is not meant to, I could not thumb type, the device is too large. So you have to find a table, and even so, it is too wobble. The screen is shaking at each of the key hits. And some keys stay stuck or not press strait. Keys are not purely mechanical

I completely sympathise with the sentiments on IGG! These people invested in a company that has so far delivered nothing in return. Crowdfunding has always struck me as witchcraft so I just bought my 1-X as a consumer last April with an advertised August shipping. When I chased them late last year, apart from the blatant spin, one of the things I was fobbed-off with was to follow their updates on IGG. In production or not, unless I get an update that is to my liking by the end of this week I'll be getting my money back and walking. Whilst I still want the phone with a keyboar
