  1. Not asking for a refund here (well, I backed via IGG, so not eligible for refund, but I would continue to wait even if I could). I believe I will get my Pro1x (actually, I will end up with two), just no idea when. I am lucky enough to have my Pro 1. If I don't, it's money I spent 2 years ago. It's been "written off" already.

  3. As @claude0001 indicated it is not really clear who&what are affected. It seems like it can be related to LTE band 3 and maybe 1, but we do not really know. All we know here is that FxTec at some point said they could not reproduce the issue in the UK, but we have others that have reported it in the UK. So could be a mixture of carrier and region that are affected, Personally my 2019 Pro1 I use as a daily driver has a rather worn keyboard by now, but yet I have not switched to the Pro1X I impatiently bought from Expensys (still hoping to get one from IGG), I work primarily from home,

  4. Right now, issues related to mobile network connectivity are reported from practically all over the world (I heard of: USA, Europe, Asia, Australia), though not by all users. There is no really clear picture yet, but, as F(x)tec acknowledged in their latest update, there may be a correlation with specific LTE bands and there may be a firmware fix at some point ...

  6. OTA for the same was also smooth. This time, I stayed rooted. My experience is that, most of the time, OTA updates don't disturb root, but once in a while I don't have root afterwards. Don't know why, but no big deal. Easily fixed when it does happen.

  7. Hello everyone, I haven't been here for a while and now that I have read the last few pages, I am thoroughly disappointed. I ordered from the website and the last time I contacted them, they said mine would ship after the backer orders were fulfilled. So where do we stand? Has everyone asked for a refund or are there still a few that are waiting? As a website order, I should be able to get a refund, albeit a slow one. Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

  8. Expect two years of shipping time and always watch out for a used one. Alternatively or additionally check this thread for a phone for sale: Always check if the offered phone is already sold and be fast if it isn't. Also, the Pro1X has a slower CPU than the original Pro1 since the original chip wasn't available anymore. So if you find a used Pro1, don't hesitate. I ordered mine originally and waited 14 months until I found a used one on ebay. I removed myself from the list back then but ordered a new one around 1.5 years ago but nothing happened so far.   13. I've bought a Cubot King Kong Mini 2 and put Lineage on it - loving how small it is and with a weird keyboard (MessagEase) there are no downsides. Safe to say the Pro1 X will never be my daily phone even if it arrived tomorrow and I was lucky enough to have everything work perfectly. This message is as useful as their "update" so doesn't seem wrong to post it here 😞
