After using it a little bit, then putting it back in the box until I could get a buddy to 3d print me a case for it...well he hasn't had time to print the case and I also worried that someday Verizon would kick the device off (since I was using a donor SIM) and for where I live my house only is served by Verizon, so that was some anxiety. I asked my dad to list it on eBay for me (after I did a full factory reset and sealed the box before taking it to him to handle selling/shipping) - https://www.ebay.com/itm/155169182551 SOLD If it sells I'll tuck the money away for when my current

Pro1X, Remap physical camera button to different camera app?

Man, we really need a Lineage 19 build for this phone. I know it all takes time and it's a new modem/soc...but whew that really would make it killer. -
Pro¹ X – state of production and delivery

Yeah IGG has been sending me the updates fine. Maybe IGG is going to SPAM or your e-mail address on file with them has changed? I don't know much about IGG, but just ideas. -
After testing mine with the Verizon SIM card in it mine has sat in it's box...waiting for a 3d printed case from a buddy. But as time passes I am again tempted to to sell. If Verizon stopped working I would be completely out of luck. No other cell provider covers my house (we have AT&T, T-Mobile, and a Regional carrier also in my area)...

I just replied to your post in the other thread about Verizon. I haven't been able to take time and test the pro1-x for any length of time. I need a case (waiting for a buddy to make me the one from thingiverse) and screen protector before I'll even risk daily driving the phone. I think I had VoLTE turned on...but not WiFi Calling.

I tossed my SIM card from my Pixel 2 XL into the pro1-x when it came in to check it out. I live in the midwest, near a rural city (30k or so). Verizon, last I checked, is the only thing that mostly works at my house (depending on where you are it might not even work). Anyways, the por1-x worked as well or better. I tested SMS with the default app, made and received calls (speaker, mic, and bluetooth) which all worked fine. Since I am not ready to make this my daily driver I toss the SIM back into the Pixel 2XL. I did not enable WiFi calling as I wanted to tested the cell network.

Pro1X, Remap physical camera button to different camera app?
Logan replied to Logan's topic in General Discussion
With the current stock firmware, that is correct. You can not. -
Yeah I've seen this on my Pixel2XL which has Linage 18.1, so certainly not a Pro1-X issue alone.

I asked my buddy if he could make me a test (low infill) for the back and top bumpers. If/when he does and we work out any kinks I'll point him this way. I like the idea of that case.

Pro1X, Remap physical camera button to different camera app?
Logan replied to Logan's topic in General Discussion
Thank you! Yeah I'd love to carry a real camera, but right now I already have to carry 2 phones (work and personal), so just no room in general to have one with me. Maybe I can look for a really slim camera that would fit away nicely in a pocket... -

My low light stuff is always stills (like an ice cave I checked out recently). -

Sounds like you know a lot about photo apps and photos in general. What app would you use on the Pro1X for low light images? I take a very wide ranch of photos (family, scenes, etc.) -
Pro1X, Remap physical camera button to different camera app?

The stock App is OK enough, but I had hoped for one that was a bit better at low-light and the default one is not. Guess I'll have to wait for LinageOS -
As the title says. Is there a way (in the default Android 11) to remap the physical camera button to use a different Camera app vs. the built in one? I find it nice to just tap that physical button to launch the app and then take pictures. I looked a bit while I "messed around" with my Pro1-X, but didn't find anywhere.

This is a sad topic to read. I fell in love with LinageOS 18.x on my Pixel 2 XL and if I wanted I could flash to 19.x even and get Android 12 based on that old phone. I do hope we eventually get support for LinageOS 19.x on the Pro1-X

I'd love to consider this over LOS, but would have to get to the point I could use it as a daily driver (camera, calls, wifi, text, F-Droid and Google Play apps). I'll keep an eye on SailfishOS.

What network? I was testing mine with Verizon here in the US. I made sure my VoWiFi was off during testing and it all worked well on my unit. Connected via LTE and I think I allowed Enhanded Voice so would be VoLTE.

My whole area seems to be LTE with no CDMA bands that I can tell. I tested my Pro1-X today using my SIM from a Pixel 2XL and left the network as whatever the default was. It took a couple minutes to register the network for the first time, but then calls and text messages seemed to work just fine. Only tested the Pro1-X for about 20-30 minutes today and didn't leave my house, but so far looks good on LTE. My house has weak signal and often uses WiFi Calling, but for my testing I left WiFi Calling turned off and it seemed to work just as well if not slightly better than the 2XL.

Thank you!

After seeing all the quick replies I decided I would open it up and just check it out (after finding a thingiverse possible case solution). Everything works perfectly (well I haven't tried to charge it yet, or traveled away from my home): wifi seems as good or better than my 2XL, Verizon works when swapping SIM from my old 2XL (calls in/out, text in/out), speakers sound good, screen rotates as expected... Really I am starting to feel good about this device...I still want LinageOS so I don't need to have all the Google default cruft, but still being ASOP basically the phone is quick and
