Doktor Oswaldo 904
Will there be Widevine DRM L1 support? It is a must for me and many others and does not cost anything. It seems that the certification is not yet there (https://www.fxtec.com/forums/topic/april-update-more-consistent-interaction-from-dev-team/page/2/#post-15139).

Waxberry 638
Widevine DRM L1 will be supported. Currently we are focusing on CTS, will try to include this feature in initial release. If not, this will be added on the first OTA update.
gelraen.ua 33
Bump. As of today, with latest updates it's still only L3, which means that, for example, Netflix will stream only SD quality video. Are there any more recent news on the timeline for L1 to be available? Benni 183
I guess all updates / work is delayed because of corona and nobody knows when that's over.

That doesn't really make sense, the work in China is obviously delayed, but development doesn't necessarily need to happen in China. There's an office in the UK. If anything I'd say that because manufacturing is on hold, that's the perfect time to focus on other things.

We do not know where the people making the software are located, but I would not at all be surprised if they resides in China too.

Yeah I'd expect that as well probably only admin type staff in UK.

I must be doing something wrong in 2022 because I still have L3.
